First, the lobby looked open, but wasn't. I wish McDonald's would keep their lobbies open a couple of hours later in the case of most stores. This one doesn't have lobby hours posted on the door like most McDonald's I go to for DoorDash do. So, I wasted time parking and trying the door - crossing the lot to get to the sidewalk instead of there being any parking by the building. Sure, most of us could use the extra steps, but I was in hurry otherwise I wouldn't have been stopping for fast food. I have better things to spend my tiny income on than an overpriced ball of grease when I have kids to feed and an ex who can't be bothered to buy a hairbrush or floss for them for his house, so please make my experience worth it.
With no customers whatsoever (waiting at the window or otherwise) and at least 3 employees "working", I waited more than 5 minutes at the first drive-thru speaker. I even tried getting someone's attention with a polite, "hello?" just in case my van didn't signal any of the employees I was there after waiting a couple of minutes. Finally, I pulled up to the 2nd speaker (why are there 2 in the same lane??) and repeated the process. I do know how to use a drive-thru effectively, I'm a DoorDasher who was taking a "quick" break. Waiting probably lost me $10 more in orders than I should have missed out on by taking a break. I was finally acknowledged because I loudly asked if someone finally got on the speaker when another car pulled up behind me to the 1st speaker and was greeted immediately. That is what finally brought my presence to the attention of the staff, hearing me through the other speaker. The other person was still talked to 1st even though I had been waiting long enough to be ready to pull up to the window to find out whether the speakers were broken or if the store was closed, but I don't think they actually bought anything.
My burger was cold even though I custom ordered it to not have pickles and I have to say I'm not feeling very well from eating it. It was the only thing I ordered and I parked to eat it right away, so it should have been warm, not cool and overly slimy with grease. Yes, I know, McDonald's food is greasy, don't order it if you don't like greasy food, but this was over the top.
Sitting in the parking lot finishing this review (since it's where I parked to eat), I can now hear a different employee speaking to customers. I shouldn't be able to hear them from where I parked, especially not clearly. They haven't sounded friendly or even pleasant to any of the 8-12 customers that have come through since they took over the speaker. The final customer I witnessed as I was taking a couple of photos left immediately after their interaction with the person working the...
Read moreMy friend and I brought our toddlers to this location for the play place. Our toddlers were wilding out this day so we ordered table service through the app. One of the employees, a younger girl, came out and brought the food to the wrong table (an empty table) and turned around and went back to the register with the food. We were confused as to why she didn’t look around and thought she maybe forgot something. That is until we heard the manager YELLING my friends name across the restaurant. For context, the restaurant was dead and there weren’t many cars in the drive thru. So at this point we’re already annoyed because why are you yelling that loudly when you can just bring it back out? So I decided to go up to the register and the girl who brought the food out originally completely ignored me. Then the manager came to ask what I needed and I asked her if she was calling out my name and this is how the conversation went. “Yes, the food is ready”.. “May I ask why the food wasn’t brought to the table?”…”she couldn’t find you”..”we saw her go to one table and leave”.. now the manager has a attitude.. “well, she looked for you”.. “no she didn’t, she went to the table next to us and left”..”ok well your food is ready”..”is there a reason you didn’t try sending it out again”.. “she didn’t find you”.. “she didn’t look!”.. “(with heavy sarcasm) ok well she’s new I’m so sorry that happened” The food itself, was terrible. The burgers tasted like freezer burn, the fries were stale and they gave us the wrong happy meals. The one star is just because the kids enjoyed the play place and the nuggets were good.
If you don’t like your job, don’t work there. There is a level of professionalism that needs to be kept in the service industry especially if the customer isn’t coming at you in a...
Read moreIt was 9:34 when I tried to enter the store and it was already closed. The hours on the door said it closes at 10:00PM, the employee that open the door to give a small order of fries to the lady who said had been waiting for more than 5 minutes said there was no employee's and that was why they closed so early!!! I went to drive-thru to placed an order, I tried to order 4 caramel frappes and was told they had no frappes! Got to the window to pay and say they were making frappes, tried to order on the window and the manager said I had to go around drive thru again and place the order! I was never told the machine was down or that they were cleaning the machine. They took like 10 minutes to give me my order and I was not allowed to place the order at the window for the frappes and my order was also short, I order 10 McChickens sandwiches and was only given 9. Miguel you are the store manager and you should plan better your schedules to have sufficient employees to run your store. Also, your managers need to be train better, as a manager she should have placed my order at the window, she had two frappes done and could of made me two more or took my order and send me to wait instead of denying me the right to place the order at the window and send me to get in line again. It was their mistake for not taking my order when I tried to place it!!! Hope you work better in your store in training your people to have better customer...
