I placed a large pick up order more than 4 hrs in advance of scheduled request (plus a 20%tip) thinking this would give them ample time to prep sauces, and be prepared for the order. I was on a time line for arriving with said food for a birthday party so I got to the store on early side of the pick up time frame. I waited for another 50 min (40 min post end pick up time slot) before my food was even ready! I was never acknowledged at any point even though others customers after me were. After 30 min of waiting I was finally able to get their attention and noted who and what order I had been waiting for; no verbal acknowledgement yet again, just a head nod.
I don't know if they were understaffed with only two workers but as some who has had a career in the food industry, I was not impressed. The fryer oil needed cleaning, and the hoods didn't even seem to be turned on due to the thick fryer haze in the air the entire time I was there. I walked out smelling like a greasy fired gross mess.
I ended up being 30 min late to the party. Overall, the food was just OK and several of us thought the wings were slightly over cook/dry and warm at best for a min 5 car ride.
The one nice thing was that one of the gentlemen walked the order to my car for me. I won't order from here again, rather I'd drive the extra distance to the Sunset location or try somewhere else altogether. We've never had this much of an issue and this was our 4th...
Read moreIt really is amazing how far this chain has fallen. As someone who spent over a decade working for a competitive brand, B-Dubs is really scraping the bottom of the barrel. From the quality of the product to the service at the sit-down restaurants and now the inability to use basic technology to properly time the orders for their carryout locations. This place won't be around much longer.
Placed an online order. Told to pick up at 5:30. Got there and was told 10 other orders were in front of us. Wait would probably be another 20 to 30 minutes. Basic kitchen management systems can handle these tasks with no problem. The idea that you can't communicate wait times to your online ordering interface....
Read moreOrdered online, when I hit pay a message appeared saying there was a problem with the app and to reorder and I would receive compensation for the first payment with 3-5 business days. Checked my bank and the charge was pending. I drove to the restaurant showed the person my order and my bank transaction. He called the manager and even with all the information they denied giving my food and told me I had to reorder and take it up with my bank??? I chose to go to the full service restaurant to place my order. I placed the exact same order, only to find out that I would have been charged $9.46 more had I ordered at the To Go location. I’ll never go back to the To Go! What a rip off and lousy...
