WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED.
Ordered delivery today at a local government building. A place in which Fengs had delivered to nearly 20 times in the last year. When we order, we give the room number and dept name. After nearly an hour of waiting, i step away from my desk for an issue and return 5 min later. I have a message from the delivery driver stating "I am in the basement and unable to find the room." I immediately called back, no answer. Called again 3 min later, no answer. Waited 10 minutes then called the restaurant. I asked nicely if they knew where my order was. He stated that "He went into the room number you listed (which was accurate as he did repeat it back to me) and no one was there." The reason that is completely impossible is that there are always 2-3 people immediately when someone walks through the door in my dept to take care of customers who walk in. I told him this. He then changed his story after 3 minutes of telling me I am wrong and said "He didn't walk through the metal detectors." Which means either he is lying or the delivery person was when he left me that message. Either way, he offered literally NOTHING. I had to ask for them to plz bring me my single order to which he responded "We aren't making a new order for you" (note it had been over almost 1hr 45 min since i ordered). Either way, i denied it and luckily it was going to be cash payment otherwise i can image I would never get the 15 dollar charge off my credit card. The sad part is that he literally just lost business from a potential 1000 employees, 1/4 of whom have ordered this...
Read moreLet me start off by saying, I have never felt the need to review any place before today. I would have given negative stars, if it were an option. We were really in the mood for chinese food today and the 2 restaurants we usually go to were closed so we decided to try it out. Welp, never again. To begin, it is completely overpriced for what you get. The shrimp egg rolls were pathetic large flavorless fried lettuce rolls. The "large" (it's really regular serving) sesame chicken was dry and disgustingly chewy. The sweet and sour was a really small portion for what they charged. Last but definitely not least, the shrimp fried rice was a total f**king failure. They gave us normal flavorless cooked rice and threw some shrimp in it, worse rice I've ever had. All in all, what we got was a complete failure and waste of money. So please dont ignore the reviews like I did, they are here for a reason. Save your money and time and stick to what you know or go to a highly reviewed place instead. I would have done a better job making my own chinese food with some...
Read moreSister raves about this place, so we ordered lunch take out while visiting. Delivery was prompt, order packaged well; food hot. Won Ton Soup: was the highlight, won tons not falling apart, pretty decent. Crab Rangoon: Nicely deep fried but nothing but cream cheese filling, no crab detected. Not worth trying a second piece. Fried Rice: terrible, looked and tasted like steamed rice with small amount soy sauce, tiny bits of green onion and some meat that looked like ham. It was not "fried" and no egg added. Worst I've ever eaten. Egg Foo Yung: so so, lacked flavor and substance. Phoenix/Dragon: definitely more fried chicken than shrimp, about 1/3 to 2/3. Chicken was rubbery and dark inside, must have been dark meat but texture looked wrong. Not spicy at all. Found a cherry pit in the food, so I'm leery of the cleanliness and procedures in the prep area. Very far under the standard of Emperor's Kitchen which we've...
