I had the worst food and worst experience ever dealing with someone named BERTO at the sunset drive KFC store in Waukesha Wi , I paid over $44 for dinner for my family only to get told i cant order what i want , i even called ahead to i get the food my family wants to eat NOT What someone named BERTO tells me to eat and puts in the buckets of chicken , we wanted dark meat , no white , he was told that and said he refused to look for dark meat and he refused to let me preorder because 16 pieces wasn't a large enough order to place for him , but funny how we have always done it in the past with no problems , So what did we get when we got our order home ?? ALL white breasts in the buckets , and 3 wings , NO LEGS OR THIGHS , the breasts were so over cooked and dry , they weren't even edible, it's like they were sitting there all day and we got the bottom of the fryer food , it's still sitting in my refrigerator , the few wings we did get , at least i think they were wings , were inedible , every bite was like biting into crushed bones , like a hammer had been taken to the wings , the bones were shattered even splintered , Needless to say this BERTO guy wouldn't even give his full name when asked , treated us like employees not customers , now i don't know about you at KFC , but if i pay over $44 for dinner i expect to eat what i want to eat, and pay for NOT what someone else tells me i have to eat for my money. Now we saw others getting treated like criminals there not customers, 2 people even said , AND I QUOTE , (now i remember why we stopped eating here) as they left the store . The more and more i think about this event i get more and more pissed off . I will be posting my families experience at this KFC on social media here in Waukesha , to warn them about this BERTO who has an attitude with no customer service skills what so ever you have running this restaurant, and honestly , you offered me a some kind of voucher to get more chicken from this restaurant , i would rather have my money refunded and you can take this nasty chicken back that's in my fridge ! sincerely very pissed of long time...
Read moreAlthough a lot of these reviews on this location are negative, I NEVER have a bad experience when I go to this KFC. The staff are always attentive to what I'm ordering and I've not had a messed up order ever. I've even had some compliments about my car made while waiting in the drive through by the staff. I don't know if the people who write these other reviews have unreasonably high expectations or if it's something else. Perhaps all these naysayers just had a rough day, encountered a new trainee, and took it out online from the safety of their keyboard or phone. This KFC is one that I would recommend and endorse going to and, as I mentioned above, I have never had a problem at this store.
BEGIN RANT: I think it's important to keep in-mind that you're going to a restaurant that specializes in fast-food level fried chicken--quick and accessible. If you want to be hyper critical and complain about not having the red carpet rolled out for you and your neo-postmodern entitled ego with your oversized turbo-boosted crossover full of children that you can't afford to support with a decent home-cooked meal and an impatient spose barking in your ear, then I think you're dining at the wrong establishment. The staff who work here are lay people doing a lay person's job, underpaid and understaffed, trying to make ends meet with the supplies that they are given. Try showing some compassion and being humble for a few minutes while you wait in a busy drive through as the people you're complaining about prepare your food. They don't want to keep you waiting impatiently any more than you want to be stuck sitting there. END RANT.

Read moreI was in there Tuesday and the food was day-old absolutely disgusting one of the employees brought her son to work and he was running around wild while she was behind the counter not paying any attention to him she come out and hang out with him for a split second and go right back behind the counter anybody could have walked out with that kid or whatever it is ridiculous I understand times are tough but it's not that tough a kid 5 or 6 years old should not be at work with you. Maybe if you didn't bring him to work maybe the employees could focus on the fact that the food was old as hell and no I will not be back
I see not only are there improving the restaurant they are improving the service. Food was good n prompt. The floor was a little slippery when I arrived from just being mopped however it was sticky on my way out and nothing was spilled on it another customer laughed with me in her way out that we were sliding on our way in and sticking in our way out. Maybe its the solution that's used on the floor not sure.
Years ago when I came in the floors, seats, ceiling etc were nasty dirty even a little rotted etc n service was very slow rude n very unprofessional food always tasted old or just off.
