Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Waukesha

I've ordered from the Pizza Hut at 447 W. Sunset Drive for roughly 20 years. After my last two orders, I probably will never order from them again. 13 days ago, my wife's pepperoni, green olive and mushroom pizza ended up being a sausage, onion and mushroom pizza. After hearing that the wait for a driver to bring a replacement was over an hour but a pick up replacement would take 20 minutes, I personally drove to the location to get the replacement. After arriving, it took another hour for the replacement to be ready. I guess the 20 minutes was just an estimate?

Such is life, right? It seemed like a really long wait after going to the location to pick up the replacement, but these things happen. Then I ordered from the location 13 days later. This time, instead of the Stuffed Crust Supreme I ordered, they delivered a cheese pizza. Just cheese. It was as if the location was flipping me off personally for giving them a second chance. I called the location to insist they credit my card for the cost of the Supreme but the person started arguing with me.

At that point either he hung up on me or my cell phone connection broke up, I'm not sure which but it doesn't really matter. I'm not ordering from there anymore. At this point I just don't believe they'r'e ever going to get an order I place right. And it's SUCH a pain to try to get it rectified I'm much better off ordering from the multitude of other pizza places in Waukesha that don't have this problem.

The woman who took my call just now did not sound sober. The third time I had to repeat my order, I asked for her to read it back to me just in case. She sounded annoyed by this and so I asked her if I was annoying her. At that point she accused me of having a bad attitude for that, but I just wanted to make sure my order was right after I had to keep repeating myself. Instead she just refused to take my order and hung up on me. I tried calling back to speak to a manager, but she just kept hanging up on me again and again. Been ordering there for years, and wow, this is how one person decides to treat another. Seems like the whole of Sunset between East and West has just gone down hill lately. One star for this Pizza Hut. But what do you expect out of that area these days. Patience? Understanding? Hard work? Nope.

Sunset Pizza Hut, to help you remember your former customer and what caused this review - it was a pepperoni p’zone, order of bread sticks with marinera, and a medium cheese pizza. Not hard…unless sobriety on the job is an issue, which is concerning if someone will be driving/delivering pizzas...

My family decided to try the Pizza Melts and ordered four of them. It was unexpected that the Buffalo Chicken style one would have zero obvious Buffalo sauce- just chicken, onions, and cheese. Just to be sure, it was sampled. No problem, we happen to have some Sweet Baby Ray’s Buffalo sauce on hand.

The app I used to place my order didn’t have a way to provide feedback, so I called to say that there was just 1 thing missing from our otherwise perfect order. The person who answered my call took a long-winded pause and said “Oooooookaaaay?” when I said that I was just calling to give feedback, followed by another long pause. When I finally described the issue, it was contested by saying there actually is buffalo sauce beneath the cheese (it’s not) and they personally did it themselves. I insisted that I’m holding it and looking at it that very moment, and the response was basically “Oh, well.” As a customer not looking for a refund or a freebie, just a promise to pay attention to detail next time, it was a frustrating...
