First time dining here. Pleasantly surprised. We ordered chicken parmigiana and it was very good. I loved the breaded chicken. Chrisp and tender. The homemade spaghetti sauce was nice but I could have had it a little lighter incorporated into the noodles. I would have loved the tables if they were white linen with a candle for a cozier touch but they were a bit too casual for the great food offered. The portion of people’s entrees were spot on. Our waitress was young and not very refined with customers and did not know certain things about the menu. She did not clear our plates nor ask if we wanted dessert. We had to ask for dessert. So with that the server needs to be trained better. This will avoid feeling rushed. We will come back. The manager on duty or owner should always touch tables so they are aware of new customers comments and feedback. I had the ribeye and it was phenomenal. It was cooked beautifully, juicy and well seasoned. The chicken parm was excellent, and was hand breaded to order like their chicken fingers which makes a BIG difference. My server Mike was attentive and courteous. Since it was my first visit to Mayor's he had a few recommendations for us. I tried the ribeye on his recommendation and it did not disappoint. Definitely a top notch experience across the board. Looking forward to trying more of their menu. I also love the fact that they are exclusively showcasing Door County wines to highlight the tastes of Wisconsin and to support homegrown businesses. we went here for Friday Fish Fry after reading the great reviews. The fish was breaded and actually good. The problem?? THEY RAN OUT OF TARTAR SAUCE, COLESLAW, RYE BREAD. We asked for Mayo. out of that too. How do you run out of the basics of Friday Fish Fry on a Friday by 730??

To make matters worse, no offer of reduced price, no offer of other options, asked for a dinner roll instead, never came. I get charged full price for a clearly deficient fish fry. Acknowledge the error and offer a small token to return. Nope, it was like they did not care.
