We visited the Waukesha location on New Year's Eve after seeing a movie at the Marcus Theater down the street. We were seated in the bar area and the bartender was our server. He was very nice and helpful initially when taking our order, but 4 out of 5 of us had something wrong with our food. The kitchen was out of shrimp, so the individual who ordered the shrimp and steak combo settled for just the steak. The food took what felt like forever to come out of the kitchen. Meanwhile we could hear staff laughing and goofing around in the kitchen with music blaring. When the food finally came out, three of us had our food cooked to the wrong temperature. One 8oz sirloin was ordered medium well and came out very rare. This steak was sent back, and remade. The 6 oz sirloin was ordered medium rare and came out medium well. The mashed potatoes with no gravy for this order also came out with gravy. The server brought out new mashed potatoes with no gravy but did not offer to remake the steak. The burger was also ordered medium and came out well done and charred on the outside. They also did not offer to remake this order. We let the server know that our meals were not cooked to the temperature ordered, and I would have expected them to offer a discount or at least have the manager stop by the table if they weren't able to remake them. At least we were seated close enough to the kitchen to hear them laughing and having fun while they butchered our orders. It also felt like our server avoided our table after we brought the issues to his attention. We were not offered any drink refills either. After we left I also noticed that the burger did not come with the pickle spear that was mentioned on the menu. This was by far the worst experience that I have ever had at Texas Roadhouse, and I will not likely be giving this location a second chance. I love the Texas Roadhouse brand and have been to locations in several different states, but this experience was deeply disappointing.

We visited March 15th (Google made me repost the review). Was taken to a table by a hostess with the name tag Mariah I believe, and I noticed right away the table was dirty. It had a few drink rings and a hair on it. I pointed that out and she rolled her head back and slouched like it was an immense inconvenience to get someone to clean it. She radioed for someone and a busser came by to rewipe the table. It seems they just do a few ceremonial swipes because afterward the table was still dirty minus the hair. I stared at the drink rings and the hostess starts going on this long lecture how a lot of the dirt is just stains or "sugars" in the table and since the tables each cost 400 dollars they don't want to ruin them by cleaning them too much. I was flabbergasted and after she left I simply took a tissue and some sanitizer from my purse to wipe away what was actually just sticky rings of some sauce. I got a feeling the restaurant manager had yelled at someone for scrubbing the table before so I dont blame her entirely. But if a slab of wood is too fragile to be cleaned properly without risking its 400 dollar value, maybe the restaurant should consider more appropriate tables? I was also confused why throughout our meal, the same 4 adjacent tables were reoccupied instead of spacing them out. A lot of lax safety measures at this place. At least the wall decor gave us something to laugh about. The poor Piacsek family, trapped in this creature since 1965!

Used the online check in for the waitlist, it worked great! They were busy when we got there, but having checked in online, our wait was only about 15 minutes! Rachel (I think, the receipt said our server was Slick) as phenomenal! She was fast, friendly and efficient and did not over bother us, but was definitely there when we needed her and fun! We started with Drinks, Kenny’s Cooler and a margarita, those came quick. We ordered a bloomin’ onion and that came super quick, especially since they were busy! They do still have peanuts, they are individually bagged in servings and in a barrel by the check in station and it is a help yourself sort of thing. Rolls and honey butter were on point as always. Husband had the New York strip smothered with a loaded baked potato and veggies. Steak was perfect, everything hit, fresh and delicious! I had the filet and ribs with mashed potatoes and gravy (to take home for later) and a loaded baked potato! Everything was DELICIOUS! We added a shrimp sidekick to share! We had so much food, it was delicious! I have to say…for 3 large alcoholic drinks, an appetizer, refillable rolls, free peanuts, 2 full dinners with add one and a side of shrimp for under $100…not to shabby!

I usually never have issues with this place but when I went on Saturday it was the worst experience I have ever had at a restaurant. We get sat at our table and we order our drinks and appetizers. The place was pretty busy, but our server brought everyone else’s drinks besides mine and I had to wait another 10 minutes for a different server to finally bring my drink. We ordered the big island cooler drinks. One of my friends wanted to buy the table shots so our server said okay. About 5-10 minutes later the manager comes up to us like we did something wrong and says they are not allowed to serve 2 drinks to a single person. Mind you, you can order an added shot in a like tub thing to come with the island cooler. So what doesn’t make sense to me is that you can add in another shot to your drink but you can’t have a drink and a shot? That just doesn’t make any sense to me! I could understand like 2 island coolers or 2 jack and cokes….. but a shot…. Come on now. So we say whatever and wait for the shots until our drinks are gone….. we told our server we were ready for the shots and it took 15 minutes to get those so we just told them we didn’t want them anymore. So then the food comes out and I kid you not everyone’s steak looks dryer than the desert. My friends ribs were dry as ever. Looked like no bbq sauce or anything was on then. He didn’t eat them. So we ask for the manager to come over. We show him the quality of the food and asks if they wanted it remade. At this point we’re irritated and just want to leave. We proceed to tell him we don’t want it remade just take it off the bill. THE MANAGER SAID HE WAS NOT ABLE TO TAKE THINGS OFF THE BILL. I looked at him and I said your lying. I’ve worked in the restaurant industry my whole teen years. I’ve had things taken off for customers numerous times! So I tell him your lying and i know you can do a discount or something. He proceeds to keep telling me he can’t do anything. But what did he do took off the food! So why sit there and argue with me instead of just taking the food off. Oh and we asked for a different manager and claims that we would of had to come back the following day. Like come onnnnn! I highly suggest they start looking at the quality of the food before they send it out. Because all of our meat was DRY! And I highly recommend getting rid of...

Extremely poor experience to say the least. 2/19 around 4pm. Manager Dan was not fully committed to the major issue my party had. Maybe managing is not meant for him.

Tatianna was extremely rude and was not held accountable for her actions. She became extremely aggressive over us simply attempting to get her attention regarding a missing protein on a salad. When she heard us attempting to catch her she growled “What” very loudly while balling her fists up while her body was facing directly towards us. Another employee that witnessed this unfold apologized for Tatianna’s rude behavior but Tatianna did not apologize herself. Manager Dan was non apologetic when it came to his attention as well. We requested Tatianna no longer interact with our party but she conveniently showed up again anyway. I feel as if our actual server (Jayden) should have been the only person bringing our food out to begin with. Jayden was decent, had a niceness to her. Just wish she was more attentive to our party.

There is no reason to have 2 additional individuals bringing our food. Especially when they all are confused and I may add also had no proper customer service skills. They were aggressively asking whose food is who’s because they did not originally take the order.

Manager seemed as if we were asking for a hand out. Nobody in our party asked him for our meal to be adjusted. However he felt like he needed to mention there was nothing more he could do for us. When nobody asked him to, besides handling the issue he obviously wanted to sweep under the rug. It was very clear our perception of the situation was not heard and before he took any consideration he wanted to ask his staff if it was true or not.

Needless to say this location does not treat everyone the same. Our food took an extreme amount of time to come. Some of our food items were cold and poorly assembled. We did not eat at the location, just decided to box everything up and leave. I will never patronize Texas Roadhouse again. This is yet another bad...
