I recently had the pleasure of staying at the brand new Courtyard Milwaukee, and I can confidently say I’ve found my go-to hotel in the area! From the moment I arrived, I was struck by how beautiful and well-thought-out the design of the hotel is. Every detail has been carefully curated to provide a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. Accommodations: The bed was incredibly comfy, and the bedding felt luxurious—perfect for a restful night’s sleep after a long day of travel. I loved the attention to comfort that the hotel showcased. Bathroom Experience: One of the highlights for me was the shower. The shower head offered fantastic pressure and temperature control, making for a refreshing experience that really starts your day off right. Amenities: The gym at Courtyard Milwaukee is nothing short of incredible. It's not your typical hotel gym; it’s spacious and well-equipped, making it easy to maintain your workout routine even while traveling. The beautiful pool area is another standout feature, offering a serene space to unwind. Pet-Friendly Features: As someone who travels with a service dog, I greatly appreciate that the hotel is pet-friendly. They even have a cute little yard specifically for dogs, which is a fantastic touch for those traveling with furry companions. Parking: With temperatures dropping into the negatives outside, the heated parking garage was a game-changer. It’s such a thoughtful touch that made my stay even more comfortable. Service: Lastly, I want to highlight the friendly staff. Everyone I encountered was welcoming and eager to assist, which added to the overall positive experience. In conclusion, if you’re looking for a modern, comfortable, and well-appointed hotel in Milwaukee, I highly recommend Courtyard Milwaukee Brookfield at Poplar creek. I can’t wait for my next visit!

Fairly new hotel, they still don’t have their act together. Our last day/night they didn’t bother to service the room. We left early in the day, came back by 4, no service however the staff/cart was down the hall so we mistakenly believed they were going to still service the room. Got back to the room close to 9pm and they didn’t service the room. While they apologize when you call down, it feels like a cost cutting measure. At almost 11 pm, after another call and still no one bringing the items in lieu of servicing the room I opened the door to toss the dirty linens out and spotted an employee servicing a room. When I asked her for the items it was clearly an inconvenience. She seemed to know what I asked for even though she said she hadn’t been told. No shower gel, when we asked about it, they gave us a small bar of hand soap. 3 days still no shower gel. When we stopped at the desk looking for lotion the older white guy at the front desk was less than pleased to deal with us. He wasn’t that pleasant with whoever bothered to call on the phone either. What a way to make us feel unwelcome. This is the first Courtyard they didn’t have lotion available. Went down to find the pool was drained today with no heads up to it being out of service. Mgmt should lower the price if you are not going to offer expected/advertised services. At $166 a night for a weekend night this is unacceptable. When you ask for MOD they say there isn’t one. Ridiculous. They have been open long enough to not have this crappy of service.

I had a horrible experience during my stay at this property August 9-15. It should be noted that I stayed at this property several times prior and had a fine experience, however after my most recent stay I will never stay again. My flight was delayed due to a storm, so I arrived around midnight, however I had already checked in earlier that day on my mobile app. I booked a King room on the Residence Inn side of the property (it should be noted I'm a Titanium member) so typically I get upgraded but I didn't which was fine. I got to my room to find they put me in a handicap room - which is not what I booked (you have to specifically select that as a room type when you book). I went back downstairs to tell them to put me in the room type I booked, to which they told me they were sold out and that was the only room they had available. How is that possible, when I had a valid reservation? They then offered me a queen room, which I did not want, but I was exhausted so I said fine. Went back upstairs to the new room to find the room was dirty and had never been cleaned from the previous guest (beds not made, dirty towels on the bathroom floor, etc.), so I went back downstairs AGAIN. They told me that was the only room they had, so I said fine then put me on the Courtyard side in a regular king room. I go upstairs for the 3rd time to find....they put me in another handicap room!!! I was so exhausted and upset and that point that I just dropped my bag and laid down and went to sleep. During my 6-night stay, I asked to speak to the manager on at least 4 separate occasions to which I was told there was no manager available. So, I emailed Marriott online and advised them of my issue, to which they simply responded that they would have the hotel manager reach out to me via email. Several days later, still no response, so I sent another email advising no manager had contacted me - and to this day - I have never received any communication from either Marriott online or the hotel manager. Oh, and did I mention that Marriott properties provide free bottled water for Titanium members - NOPE not this hotel. They refuse to provide water and advised I could purchase it from the hotel store! I travel to the MKE area every other week for work, and I have found another hotel to give my money to - I will never stay at this...

On 12.30.24 I booked two hotel rooms for our family to enjoy the holiday, but unfortunately, our expectations were not met due to several issues encountered during our stay.||Prior to reserving our rooms, I specifically mentioned the importance of having access to a restaurant, breakfast, and the bar on New Year's Eve, and I was assured that these amenities would be available. However, upon our arrival, we were informed that the bar and restaurant were closed, leaving us without the services we were promised.||The front desk receptionist appeared unprofessional, as she was preoccupied with her phone during our check-in. The suggestion to seek an alternative hotel at 6 pm was frustrating, considering we had made arrangements to stay at your hotel. The explanation provided for the closures was due to insufficient staff and low reservations was even more frustrating, especially given the lack of prior notification. We decided to go buy alcohol beverages from the grocery store, but while touring the hotel we noticed there were alcohol beverage for sale!!! This was extremely upsetting because we should have been told we can purchase alcohol beverages on site so we didnt have to add further inconvenience of going to the store! Especially since I informed them we were going to purchase drinks due to the bar being closed!!||When we got to our rooms, the glasses were stained with water marks, and the curtain was hanging off the line. The heat was also not working so I called the front desk and they sent the maintenance guy up. He said he was unable to get my heat to work at full capacity and said there was nothing he could do, but will send someone up in the morning!!! We check out in the morning!! Unreal! The more upsetting part is that the front desk was aware of the heat issue and didn't call up to see if I needed extra blankets etc!!||Every year my family enjoys a nice stay at a hotel for new year eve, and this has been the worst experience!!!!||I was trying to refrain from posting this review, but I sent an email to the GM and assistant GM and...

This hotel proves that investment alone does not create a good property. It’s shiny and new but there is ZERO effort toward providing good or even acceptable service. ||It started with check in, the front desk clerk seemed distracted and rushed even though I was there and had already done check in online. She asked to see my ID but then walked away and never even glanced at it. As she hands me my keys she asks as an afterthought if I am a Bonvoy member, when I say yes, she then thanks me for being a member. The whole point of that is that they recognize your loyalty, not that they have to ask you. She also failed to ask if I wanted points or the something from the pantry.||Speaking of the pantry, I stopped there the following night for a soda and a bag of chips. There was no one at the front desk and this was 7 PM, so not late night. I waited and waited and finally gave up, just as I was turning to put the items back the clerk shows up. Then I find out they are a cashless operation and I have to put my little purchase on a credit card (room was a business expense, so I couldn’t do a room charge). Just another inconvenience. On another occasion I stood by the grab and go window at the bistro and finally gave up and walked away||Finally, the room stayed too hot even though I had the thermostat set to 68 (its coldest setting). There is absolutely no way the temperature in that room was 68. I think the issue is that the very loud cooling unit is on the same side of the room relatively near the thermostat, so it blows a stream of very cold air directly on the thermostat for a very short time, from that the thermostat reads at 68 and then it shuts off, failing to do much to actually cool the room down. ||This hotel is wasting good infrastructure because of a poorly designed thermostat layout and a lack of commitment to service. ||Within the past month, I have given ratings of 5 to two other Marriott properties, so I am not someone who is overly negative in my reviews. In this case, the poor...
