KFC — Restaurant in Wauseon

Parking lot was very open as the drive-thru line was the ONLY way to get your order at this establishment! Despite the signage on the door indicating that the restaurant was open 10a-10p, the lobby doors were locked up tight with no other signs to indicate that the lobby was closed or that the restaurant was short staffed.

Employee that was working the drive-thru window seemed like they were just thrown into that role at the last possible minute with no formal training. Definitely a lot of anger and aggression could be felt by the staff here, not directly to the customers but rather the situation they were placed in.

The food was completely inedible. Ordered a box of the new nuggets and was given apple pie bites in the box instead of nuggets. (Normally I would be happy with that, but there weren't any nuggets in the entire order to eat, so it was definitely a letdown. And the chicken itself was so rubbery, it bounced when I dropped a piece in the floor. (I'm not even trying to joke about that, it legit bounced on my floor like a bouncy ball.)

As much as I feel for the staff there that are having to work like this, I would highly recommend anyone looking to go to KFC to avoid this location if you can. Whether it was the unhappy staff or the inedible food, this location is one that you should avoid...

While traveling for work I noticed an A&W. I was completely gobsmacked by feelings of nostalgia. The last time I had A&W was as a nine year old traveling to Indiana. It was one of my best memories. Anyway, I ordered a burger, onion rings and a root beer. I took it back to my workplace and the anticipation of consuming it was driving me nuts but a happiness coupled with it. So, it did not disappoint! It was everything I had remembered but minus the float (damn lactose intolerance ) now. They have the best food hands down compared to ANY Mcd, BK, steak n shake,Culvers, and yes I can't believe I'm saying this but five guys. Im not big on soda or root beer but I could drink this root beer everyday. I'm glad I found it again and will make a trip just to relive my youth. The service and food are excellent. I don't understand why KFC is the main attraction as a dual drive thru ? So if you are out in Wauseon...

My husband and I stopped here for a bite to eat after the cruise in in Wauseon. The restaurant itself is just gross. You stick to everything you touch. The tables, the chairs/seats, and there's a visible greasy layer of crud every where you look. Sadly, it's beyond a deep cleaning.. A remodel is this place's only hope and is long over due! I went to the restroom after we placed our order to wash my hands. The women's bathroom smelled heavily of sewer gas and there were no paper towels available to dry with afterwards. The gentleman that took our order was quick to welcome us and serve. He was busy bustling around helping other customers as they came and went and delivering orders to parked cars that ordered at the drive through. We ordered bacon cheeseburger combos and our food was decent overall. This would have been a much better experience if the place...
