LONG RANT * What a HORRIBLE experience at WAUSEON PIZZA HUT today. We had a birthday dinner planned for the kids today and we had tables reserved for over 20 people in advance. We showed up and found out that they gave our tables away and the Manager told us it was then "First come, First serve". Which wasn't true, we found out later that they did indeed gave our tables away and just wouldn't own up to it. Mind you we have had multiple birthday dinners at this same Pizza Hut and we did this exact same procedure with no issues until today. Well then we were stuck moving tables around OURSELVES with no help to try to configure something in order to fit all the people that were coming. Their employees and the manager just sat there and watched us as we did all the work. We then waited and waited for someone to come get our order, and drinks and no one came. At this point our entire party was fed up and couldn't believe how bad the service was, so I went up and asked to talked to the Manager and explained everything to her. I asked for her name so I could contact corporate in the morning about my experience and she then proceeded to say that "SHE DIDNT FEEL SAFE, AND THAT SHE COULD ASK US TO LEAVE!! " WHAT A JOKE!!, To threaten to have us leave because I simply asked for her name like you would any other time or place a issue arises and you want to report it. To make matters worst, they had the nerves to come tell us that they forgot to put one of our orders over an hour later, so we had kids waiting for that food and the whole time they forgot to even put it in!! We repeatedly had to ask for silverware and plates, the most basic and first thing you are given when at a restaurant! It was a NIGHTMARE to say the least, and the manager was the rudest person ever, and she still refused to talk to us or identify herself! My mother in law had a conversation with her and asked her to apologize and she just shrugged her shoulders as if she didn't care!! Fortunately we had a waitresses that has served us before come over and apologize to our party for the managers behavior and stated that many people that work there are fed up with her as also. We were told her name was JULIE but not 100% sure if thats correct but we are going to contact corporate in the morning and make sure this never happens again. If anyone can confirm that the managers name is in fact JULIE that was working tonight, that would be great. Its crazy that in a service industry business that people like her are made managers! All she had to do was simply apologize and attempt to make things right but nope she refused to even try to apologize. Sorry for the long rant, but I refuse to let this go without this going up their corporate ladder and something being done. She made my kids birthday dinner chaotic, so I'm not letting this...
Read moreMy son and I both went there. We both had pops. I am gluten and dairy free, so I had to order a gluten free pizza which is a 10" pizza. My son ordered the cheesy bread sticks. I had wanted to get a salad, but with no croutons and cheese. But, the lady had no idea if any of the salad dressings were DF and GF. So, ok I skip that idea. So I thought maybe a small order of chicken wings. But, once again she did not know if the wings or bbq sauce was GF and DF. So I just had the gluten free pizza. My son wanted a stuffed crust pizza, but only a medium which the stuffed crust was only made large. Once everything was said and done, my bill at Pizza Hut was $76 and some change. I left a $7 tip. This was the largest bill for a Pizza Hut visit I have ever had and especially just for 2 people. I could have gone to a different restaurant where my options were more noted and the employees were knowledgeable in allergies and would have left with a much smaller bill. I think if you are going to offer a gluten free pizza crust, then your employee should be knowledgeable about what else is gluten and dairy free in your establishment. I'm pretty sure that I am not the only person in that area that has food allergies. So with the lack of knowledge and the cost of your food, I will not be returning to Pizza Hut...
Read moreThis was a subpar expierance. was greeted at the door by 5 people and still waited 10 minutes for a seat in a slow dining room. I was told my server would be along shortly, and then there was some kind of confusion on who was going to be serving our table. finally, after we were greeted by our server, we ordered drinks and food all at one time, and we already knew what we wanted. ordered wings, a personal pan for our 8 year old, cinnamon rolls. and a pasta to go. food started coming out, and we were served our wings and cinnamon rolls, we were told the personal pan would be along shortly. the pizza never came until after we were completely done with the wings. we came in for the little one to eat, and she was not served her pizza until long after we were done with the rest of the food and ready for the bill. even the to go pasta was brought to our table before the child's personal pan pizza was served. when the personal pan pizza was served, it was wrong. this was by far the worst expieranced at this pizza hut location. I normally don't write negative reviews, but this time, I felt it was a must. serious improvements should be made. thank you Ty M Strong
