This review is not a dig against the hourly employees, as they are only doing their job. My issue is with the management they have running the place.
Since we (my family) travel all over the Midwest for business purposes, there times we are away from home for up 15 hours some day. That necessitates the need to stop and get food on the go. Historically, Burger King locations have been one off the more accommodating of the restaurants we go to and one of the few that have a decent vegetarian option(my mom didn't feel like Subway today.)
We like our fries cooked extra and have gotten this request fulfilled at over 33+ locations all over Indiana and some place in Ohio. We politely asked the clerk if we could have the fries as we requested he said he would have to ask his manager. He came back and said he couldn't. We then ask if we could talk to the manager.
The manager made excuses that they didn't have a timer setting to cook them more. We politely explained to her how all the other locations were able to, which she quipped a snarky "we can't, it kills the grease". Onion rings and breaded items degrade oil more (I used to work in the food industry.) If I did that to a customer I would have at best been given a written disciplinary write up, if not terminated!!!
This manager has little to no customer service skills and is very unprofessional. The only reason why this review even has 1 star is because I physically can't give a lower score and they didn't put mayonnaise on...
Read moreI have tried consistently to eat here and everytime everything is absolutely horrendous. Cold food, half empty fry containers, missing food there is consistently a problem but every few months I go back because hopefully they got rid of the few people making this place bad. Today I was feeling adventurous and thought let's give it a shot. I was ordering breakfast for me my wife and my 2 year old daughter. I ordered 2 for 5 crosaunwichs large hashbrown and at that point the lady on the speaker started to get irritated. I didn't know which kind of ice coffees there were and proceeded to make me feel rushed while I got a burrito and French toast. After I stated my second drink she promptly stated the price and told me to go to second window. I wasn't done. I was only one in line. This happened in maybe 45 second to minute and half total. I pulled forward my wife was on the phone through my car with blue tooth and as I pulled forward also felt she was rude. So i drove off I'm not gonna waste my hard earned money when I'm already unsatisfied wirh the experience before you even have my money. I'm done giving you chances Burger King. I hope the owner reads this and cleans house because I really enjoy Burger King and it's a shame that I am not able to enjoy the one...
Read moreNASTY! Is all I can say about my last visit. It reminded me of why I very rarely go to a Burger King. I ordered a whopper with cheese, bacon and mustard.
I make it a point to always check my order when going in the drive thru anywhere. More often than not, it saves a second visit to correct the order. After receiving my order I checked it and found out my whopper had cheese and mustard, but no bacon. I sent it back to get the bacon I had paid extra for. After getting it back a second time and checking it. I noticed the top bun was pretty much destroyed, laying on top of the burger in pieces. I assume, by the standard of service, that this was done intentionally by the person who corrected the problem. So my best advice is to avoid this location.
