China East — Restaurant in Wauwatosa

I want to start off by saying that I absolutely love chinese food. However, I am very skeptical about trying new chinese restaurants. For this place, I heard good things about the food and prices so I went ahead and gave it a try wishing the best but I soon regret going here and spending money at this establishment because the food was beyond disgusting. This restaurant is a few blocks from my work so I called in my order during lunch time and then went to pick up on order. The person who answered the phone said it would ne ready in 10 minutes. It does scare me knowing that food can ne prepared that quickly but I try not to think about it. I got there 10 minutes later and the food was baged and at the register. I ordered peppersteak and chicken fried rice and an veggie eggroll. So I went back to my workplace and notice that the food was bland with no taste, the peppersteak was very chewy and pink and had absolutly no taste and instead of an egg roll, I was given a spring roll and that is the only thing that actually tasted ok. I threw mostly all the food out because it was too disgusting to eat. Whatever these chinese restaurants put in their foods doesn't agree with my body, because anytime I eat chinese food, i always get a migrane that takes hours to go away. To future customers, please save your money and time and eat elsewhere. This is the WORST chinese food that I have ever, ever had. If I could give this place ZERO...

I just had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. While I’m sure their food might be okay for some, I’ve certainly had better. My order was completely wrong: I ordered the egg foo young combo, with shrimp fried rice and an egg roll, but instead, I was given pork fried rice and a spring roll.

When I brought this to the attention of the woman in charge, she was unapologetic and dismissive. She opened my container and dug through my food with an attitude, as if they couldn’t possibly have made a mistake. She eventually admitted the order was wrong and told me she would give me a side of fried rice with five shrimp.

Okay so first thing was the monotone greeting when my sister and I walked in. Then after we received our food it was HORRIBLE!!. The food had absolutely no seasoning and I could not just sit at home and pay for a meal that was gross. On top of that the peppers in the pepper steak that we ordered was not cooked at all. Then we arrived to get our money back one of the employees told us that this is how they cook their food and we should try somewhere else. Then the other ambiguous looking person said DO NOT COME BACK. Extremely rude and unprofessional and I would never go back to spend money where the food was nasty and the people just as nasty. Word of advice refund the money and leave it at that, next time someone might not walk out...
