McDonald's — Restaurant in Wauwatosa

This used to be my top location since it’s perfect coming on the work and picking up kids from school. Went there to get two meals for my sons. It’s this one lady that wears glasses that this is the second time I have been there and not sure if she had an issue with black women or feel her crew can treat someone rudely but this second interaction where the treatment is obvious and rude. She appears to act like she doesn’t want to take my order. After my order is taken she goes “next window” and slams the sliding window door. When I first pulled up she appears to be resting having the window door open leaned over. Then I pull up to the next window and saw a women standing there but then quietly disappearing. We sit and wait for 3 minutes even saying “hello” with no response. So we pulled up the third window. We did this because other McDonald locations if no one may not have been at the window, the third person at the window was nice enough to take the customer card to give to the person in the register area since no one was there. Burger King does it, and Wendy does it. We have never encountered someone rude that had an issue. The guys stated “ YOU NEED TO PAY BACK THERE. “ I stated “ oh I know but we waited and no one came and the person that was there never came back.” He stated “ WELL YOU GOTTA PAY BACK THERE “ I stated “ can you take my card “ he goes “ YOU CAN BACK UP TO THE LAST WINDOW BECAUSE THERE IS NO REGISTER HERE “ Then slams the door. We pulled off and got Wendy’s with no issue and the person was not at their 3rd window either, but they had a sign stating next window and at the third window they stated the person that takes payments went tot the restroom and they would pass on to them as they were on their way back to take the payment and allow one moment. I never have complained or right away considered a race issue, but in this case and 2nd time something like this happening….. they come off to only assume I’m just only a black women and they decide who they want to still respect or provide service too. I am black and Puerto Rican. I speak Spanish, French and English born here in the United States. It does not matter where you come from , or your background as anyone can appear one race or assume someone may be rude or belligerent, when here it is I am no where near the such and just politely left. So I've just recently moved over here some months ago been going to McDonald's guess younger crowd last night on sep4 2024 the first two workers were cool but when they got to the lady department and the two ladies that came out one had to be a manager she came out like you're lying nothing's missing out your bag and I was missing the whole triple cheeseburger and they only put two meats and two cheeses didn't put 3 rd meat didn't want to give me sandwich put two fries which only asked for one I don't think I'll ever go pass 9 10 o'clock &ade me wait about 12 mins or so to bring a burger I never got people are evil.dont care & people are evil 🙈 for No Dam Reasons I'm just hoping I won't have to deal with that anymore I just felt bad cuz I'm like I'm just trying to grab a few sandwiches and then feed them to make it seem as if I didn't even have the sandwich to be in with how old is a triple cheese a bacon McDouble of McChicken a fry in a drink so I can find another meal out of the sound two sandwiches and then didn't get them and then they got mad about giving it to me she took my receipt and never gave it back it was just rude and she was a manager on shift last night the first lady brought the manger out & she looks like she was coming to beat me up because I was looking for my missing sandwich after parking me shaking 😞🫨 my head the energy & bogusness from worker manger etc today is wrong everyone going through thong But You don't like your Job get another Do better People yeah looking like more of a younger crowd that was my first messed up...

Yesterday morning started off a bit rough I woke up to a dead battery right before I had to be @ treatment 😶. Which I was almost 😅 grateful for because I woke up so hungry 😋 & called into my center acknowledging that I would be late due to car troubles. Headed to McDonald’s for breakfast & ordered an egg & cheese 🧀 McGriddle meal 😍 went to pay 💰 & realized that I didn’t have my backpack 🎒 due to having to switch cars 😟 so I told my cashier that I had to cancel my order because I didn’t have anything to pay with & that I’ll be back I’m only up the street 😇. She then replied with “that’s ok I’ll pay for your meal & you can pay 💰 me back when you get a chance” 😯🥰😌. What a generous gift 🤩. Mind you I’ve never met this lady 😏 so for her to go out of my way to help was very generous of her 🙂 & to not know if I would return with her payback 🤨. My meal was $6.12 not a huge amount but significant enough for me to be very appreciative of her sincere sensitivity ☺️. So 10 minutes later I came through the line with her funds and handed her $20 & she said “let me go get your change” “I said NO that’s all yours Miss Lady 🤑. You didn’t have to bless me with your kindness it’s your job to assistant customers but you went above and beyond in my time of need 😇. Very grateful for Miss Denise Taylor 🥳🤗😆.
