Stone Creek Coffee - Harwood Ave — Restaurant in Wauwatosa

Very disappointed in the lack of kindness and poor service at Stone Creek. I was not greeted at all walking in the door. When I ordered the young lady taking my order did not seem to care about the customer whatsoever. The worker was wearing a mask so it was extremely difficult to hear her. I ordered a 16 oz mango smoothie and my girlfriend got a 16 oz hot chocolate. The total before tax was $9.50. I had a $20 dollar bill that I was going to pay with thinking the total would be under ten dollars so I could get a ten dollar bill back. The total ended up being $10.07 so i handed the worker the $20 and a single so I could still get my big bill instead of four singles and a 5. I'm not sure how but the worker simply handed me a $10 bill and closed the register without giving me my change. That was supposed to be 93 cents that I never recieved. If the worker would have spoken up and paid closer attention this review might have gotten a few more stars. Additionally, when the other worker gave me my smoothie, it wasn't filled to the top.(see picture) I would guess there was about 14 of the 16 ounces in the cup when it was served to me. Im sorry but $5.50 for a 16 ounce smoothie is ridiculous the way it is. And to be shorted is not cool at all. I know that this is a nice coffee shop but I think the workers need to be kinder and more outgoing and they need to serve what...

I went to Stone Creek Coffee to “window shop” for my husband’s birthday. I met this young guy, Patrick, who assisted me. We chatted a bit. I told him I wanted to send something to my husband in Florida. In the process, I very briefly mentioned why I was in Wisconsin (here with my daughter for tx). Before leaving, I ordered a cup of coffee and an almond pastry. I went to pay and he insisted it was on him and absolutely refused to accept my payment. I was awestruck! I gave a tip but simply can’t express enough how kindhearted some people truly are. So many of the people I have met up here are so incredibly kind. It really touches the heart when things seem so rough sometimes. Remember, always be kind; you may not know what someone is going through. If Patrick is the face of the company, Stone Creek surely knows how to hire the best! He touched my heart beyond measure. Decided to try Stone Creek since it's on my way to work and was in the mood for something new. Pretty sure I've had Stone Creek before (either in other locations in Milwaukee, Airport, etc...) but I was overall very impressed. The vibe of the place is very cool, laid back and minimalistic. They have a cute corner for kids to color and the staff are SO FRIENDLY. I've only gone twice but i've always tipped well because everyone is so nice (greeting you when you enter, not rushing you, make suggestions for next time, offer punch card, etc...).
