Torero Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Waycross

Five stars is not enough! We introduced some friends to one of our favorite Mexican restaurants, and they thanked us as they thoroughly enjoyed the food and atmosphere. A couple weeks later, they told us of a new Mexican restaurant in town which they felt was better yet. We were quite skeptical and really had no real plans to intentionally go try the place. We were truly happy at "our" place. But, the opportunity came one night so we decided, "Why not?" After all, that couple is well-acquainted with what makes a restaurant outstanding. Best restaurant decision we have made in a long time! We ended up eating there three times over the next seven days. Fantastic food and service at a totally reasonable price. We were out of town the next week and ate well, but my taste buds were longing to get back home. I'm confident we will be at Torero Mexican Restaurant at least once a week...

Very happy to have discovered this place. This is all you can eat Mexican cuisine buffet. This is our second visit and each time the food has been fresh, hot and delicious. The first time we came was just an hour before closing and even with very few customers the bar was fresh. The queso is some of the best I've ever had. The bar is kept clean and replenished often in small batches. I cannot rave enough about this place, and would not have tried it had we not been trying to eat at the buffet next door which was about to close. 10/10 recommend to anyone looking for delicious authentic Mexican cuisine. They need a few more selections that I am accustomed to seeing at most other Mexican buffets but the food was very good and the service was excellent all the staff I came in contact was very friendly aside from one lady I spoke to whom was refilling some items and I asked if there was any more Pico and she kinda gave me an odd look and just kept working. She ended up refilling everything that was empty except for the Pico and it remained empty while I was still there. Not sure what that was all about but it wasn't something that would have made me not want to go back.
