I don’t get the hype. I’ll review service and cookies separately below.

Service/ experience I ordered curbside pickup about 2 hours in advance. I arrived at my scheduled time and waited. After 20 minutes I walked up to a young employee standing outside the door and asked. She informed me they were short staffed. I think this young woman was standing outside telling people no one else could get in line but I’m not really sure. From my perspective, if you’re that short staffed put a sign on the door and get back in there to help. After another 10 minutes I decided to call the store. I got though and overheard the conversation between the nice young woman who answered the phone and her colleagues. One person was working on store orders and one was doing door dash. No one was packaging the curbside pickup orders. They were nice and immediately got to work on my order. After about another 10 minutes I got my cookies.

While I understand that many companies are short staffed right now, I think it would have been better for Crumbl to turn off ordering for curbside pickup and door dash so they could focus on customers in the store. It’s clear that the young staff is in over their heads. Not sure who the manager is and where they were but there are some serious issues going on.

Cookies I don’t get the hype. They were fine. I couldn’t eat a whole one on my one for sure. They are huge. But they are just super rich. Nothing special about them for me. Maybe I would try a specific flavored cookie if they came out with a flavor that sounded really good to me but otherwise I won’t be going back. Not sure what people are raving about.
