We went around 8 on a Wed night and the place was packed. We asked how long seating would be and they said they could seat us immediately. We waited about 10 minutes and then they took us to the table. The table was still being cleaned and one worker made a comment to the one seating us who said don't blame me. We ended up standing in a very busy walkway for a few while they finished up. When we sat down the girl took a plate and silverware setting away so we ended up short one. We asked the waiter to bring it back and he brought two plates. We never got more silverware and ended up sharing some of the forks others weren't using from their set. The waiter came immediately and took drink orders. When he brought our drinks back he asked if we were ready and we said not yet, but ordered an appetizer. It took a while for him to come back to take our order. Our appetizer had already been on the table for a while. When taking our order he specifically asked about toppings on steaks, potatoes, etc.. The two that ordered house salads got those a while later, but the meal took forever. The waiter told us the kitchen got backed up and would be about 2-3 mins. One meal came out to our table and the rest didn't show up for 10-12 minutes later. Two people in our party ordered steak and shrimp and only one got shrimp with the order. The waiter went to check and never wrote it down. There were 7 of us at the table and we all heard him order steak and shrimp. The waiter asked if we wanted it and we said no we didn't want to wait longer. Another order came with a sweet potatoe but none of the toppings he specifically wrote down, which I watched him write were on it. The kids steak bites were very hard to chew so they ended up not getting eaten. The waiter brought another water to the table for one person, but nobody else. We had to ask for refills. They initially sat us down with 2 baskets of bread and the waiter did bring 1 more. He never asked if we wanted more after that. When we got our bill we were charged .50 for cheese on a baked potatoe and $1.99 for mushrooms and onions on the steak. It probably is in the menu, but it would be nice when the waiter is asking if you want those things to say it is going to cost extra. We didn't feel our waiter was friendly or organized. The floors were very sticky in places walking to our table and to the bathroom. The womens bathroom was decent, but the guys in our group said the mens was gross and there was urine on the floors. It can be pretty loud inside when full. The air was on and it was freezing. There were a lot of people with long sleeves or jackets on that they wore the whole time. This was not a positive experience for us and it was our first time trying it out. For how much we spent, they need to tighten some things up. We should have just gone to one of our regular spots.

The Texas Roadhouse, is a delightful dining experience that truly stands out, particularly when it comes to their sirloin steak, served alongside a generous portion of mashed potatoes and corn. From the moment you step into the restaurant, you're greeted by the warm, inviting atmosphere that is characteristic of Texas Roadhouse. The rustic decor, complete with wooden booths and cowboy-themed accents, sets the stage for a comforting meal. The star of the show, undoubtedly, is the sirloin steak. Cooked to perfection, it boasts a beautiful sear on the outside while remaining tender and juicy on the inside. The flavor is rich and robust, a testament to the quality of the meat and the skill of the kitchen. Whether you prefer it medium-rare or well-done, the chefs at Texas Roadhouse consistently deliver a steak that meets your specifications with precision. The seasoning is just right—enough to enhance the natural flavors of the beef without overpowering it. Accompanying the steak is a side of creamy mashed potatoes that are simply divine. They are whipped to a silky smooth texture, with just the right amount of butter and seasoning to make them irresistible. Each spoonful is a comforting reminder of home-cooked meals, making it the perfect complement to the sirloin. The corn, served as another side, is a delightful addition that rounds out the meal. Sweet and perfectly cooked, it adds a refreshing crunch and a touch of sweetness, balancing the savory flavors of the steak and potatoes beautifully. The overall dining experience is further enhanced by the attentive and friendly staff, who are always eager to ensure that your meal is nothing short of exceptional. The vibrant atmosphere, combined with the mouthwatering food, makes Texas Roadhouse in Sioux Falls a must-visit for steak lovers and anyone looking for a hearty, satisfying meal. In conclusion, if you find yourself in Sioux Falls, don't miss the opportunity to indulge in their sirloin steak with mashed potatoes and corn. It's a meal that not only satisfies your hunger but also leaves you with a warm feeling of contentment, making it a true standout in the local dining scene.

First things first, our server Mandi, was delightful. She did a wonderful job... attentive but not overbearing. During this visit, we used the call ahead seating TR offers. I was told there was a 35 to 45 minute for a table for two. We arrived 33 minutes later and were told it would be ten minutes until our table was available. Ten minutes rolled over to 25 minutes. No big deal, just be prepared to wait for a table. TR is almost always swamped on weekend evenings. We were seated in the bar area, which I actually enjoy because it's usually a lot less hectic than things on the main floor. One of my knocks on TR is, and always has been, the noise level. It is tough to carry on a conversation no matter where you're seated... turn down the music. It's a restaurant, not a night club. My wife and I enjoyed their wonderful rolls, we also ordered the cactus blossom, which tonight was cooked very well. We both had side salad which contained a nice assortment of fresh lettuce, tomatoes, cheese and croutons. My entree was the 16 ounce sirloin with a baked potato. My second knock on TR, and this happens as many times as it doesn't, my steak was cut thinner at one end than the other. That makes it very difficult for anyone cook to prepare a steak as ordered. The thin end of my sirloin tasted good, but was a solid medium well and on the dry side of things. The thicker end of my sirloin was a very nice medium rare, just as I had ordered. The thicker end was definitely more tender and juicier. This was a good meal, not great, but certainly palatable.

5 stars!!! This is going to be a story… my son introduced my Husband to Texas Rd House 10 years ago on a road trip from Alberta Canada to Indiana… My husband took me back to Indiana … he told me we HAD to go this place and try an onion blossom and fall-off-the-bone-ribs and throw peanut shells on the floor!! Well … I was hooked … From there we tried Texas roadhouse everywhere we went and we were never disappointed. Three years ago we had a poor experience and we were with people from that place…and they said: yeah; we didn’t really want to come but you seemed so excited… BUT .. Sioux FALLS MADE US BELIEVERS AGAIN !!! WE ATE HERE TWICE THIS TRIP !!… so sorry that I cannot recall the first night’s server name. Our wine that we selected was ok … We ordered the onion blossom and it was as perfect as the very first time all those years ago in Indiana… When she returned to take our food order and we ordered steaks.. we said: The wine we ordered was a little sweet; could you please pick something out to go with our steak?… the wine she selected was excellent and the steaks were cooked to perfection !! The broccoli was al dente, the smashed potatoes were perfect. My husband had the Caesar salad and everything was so delicious that we came back the second night. We remembered to order the wine the first waitress recommended which is really terrible because we remember the name of the wine and not the waitress!! lol !! We had the smashed potatoes again, the Caesar salad, and broccoli (perfectly al dente), —-again-the steaks were cooked to perfection !! That first night - -the waitress , without any prompting from us, told us a little history on Texas roadhouse …and how they repurpose the baked potatoes and save the food and yet keep it fresh and make everything from scratch and she really reinstated our love for Texas roadhouse!! so out of curiosity I googled reviews from the place that turned us away from Texas roadhouse and they do have terrible reviews and all of the reviews seemed to reflect our thought that Texas roadhouse everywhere else is excellent !!!….when we read the reviews from Sioux Falls they far exceeded all the other reviews!!! just wanted you to know keep up the good work Sioux Falls Texas...

Let me start by saying we love Texas Roadhouse and have visited many locations. This location, however, has absolutely terrible customer service. We are a family of 5 with a 1 year old who needs to sit in a highchair. Every time we use the app to reserve a table they sit us at a 4 person table and try to stick our baby at the end. In a normal restaurant this wouldn't be a problem but if you dine at Texas roadhouse you know that you end up with a lot of plates at your table and large, sharp steak knives in each place setting- so when you have a 12 month old baby who's doing what babies do, it becomes a hazard with so much stuff on the table and knives to keep an eye on. Every time I would tell the host we needed a bigger table I would get "we can change your table but you'll have to wait through the wait list again". I have 3 small children so waiting an extremely long wait time and then having to rewait for a new table is just not happening when I have 3 small children who have a short attention span. After 3 separate visits of having to deal with this same issue, we started putting party of 6 on the app so we could have a larger table to accommodate us. This worked a couple times but now the last 2 visits we have been seated at a 4 person table with a pop out that takes up half the aisle so it creates a traffic jam for customers, waiters and bussers to go around. In my opinion this type of table should be an absolute last resort on a busy day to seat guests and not when there's an entire empty room of 6 person booths. And again, when voicing our opinion of that type of table not working out for us we are told, "you'll have to be put back on the wait list and wait again". DO BETTER TEXAS ROADHOUSE! Train your hosts to seat guests properly and teach them how to accommodate customers when they try voice that a table doesn't work for them. Train your waiters to have energy and be polite to their customers. And hold your managers accountable for checking in on customers and not just walking around collecting the tags from the ends of people's tables without actually saying anything to them. After 8 visits in the last year encountering the same issues EVERY SINGLE TIME we will not...
