Soups n Such blew us away. This place in Wayne, NJ, was a total blast for my taste buds. A lost art of traditional cooking lives here ā using excellent ingredients to produce a weekly changing menu of soups and sandwiches that truly delights and spoils the local community and any lucky patrons passing through.
Single-owner and chef-run, with the help of her family, she pours every drop of love into every bite you take. The owner cares ā deeply ā about the experience, the warmth, the feeling of being home. Inside, itās cozy and personal, decorated with old-school kitchen tools and thrifty vintage charm. The menu? Handwritten in chalk. A small touch that adds a whole lot of soul.
The food? Hit every note: comfort, enjoyment, umami-rich indulgence ā impressing this cook far more than I expected when I first pulled up.
Come in with kindness and an appetite for something special, and youāll leave full, happy, and grateful you read this review.

This weekās picks: I had the chili soup and the jerk chicken sandwich ā and I wonāt dive into the specific sauces and details tailored for maximum bite-by-bite perfection. That would be criminal. You simply need to taste this.
With a revolving menu and carefully chosen ingredients, this place brings back a culinary culture all but lost in the U.S. Itās a masterclass in how food should be served.
Sheās originally from Trinidad ā polite, warm, a wonderful human being, treating all who walk through the door with respect and care.
Kind ask: No smoking out front, and come ready to enjoy the hospitality of...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI visited Soups ānā Such last weekend for the first time. I had a great experience, and the food was very fresh and delicious. The owner, Tasha, is so nice, welcoming, and professional. I was undecided between the Chicken and Rice soup and the Chicken Mulligatawny soup so she let me try both! Both soups were delicious, but I opted for the Mulligatawny this time because I liked the slight kick it had. I will be back for the Chicken and Rice soup lol! I also tried the Grilled Cheese ā her homemade cheese spread is really tasty! The homemade iced tea was very refreshing. The chocolate cake was so good, and it was not too sweet. I highly recommend checking out Soups ānā Such. I would get these same choices again and again, but I cannot wait...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis was my first outing to this cute little establishment! I ordered on Good to Go to sample the soup. Wow oh wow! The 2 soups I received were outstanding, with flavor and texture. The first soup was a potato tortellini soup that was thick like a stew. This was intensely flavorful and satisfying. The 2nd was a lemon chicken orzo like soup also absolutely delightful! The owner is kind hearted and aims to please her customers. You can easily pass by this place as it is off a main road. It is a cute hidden gem that warrants a visit! I will be back to try more items on...
