FINS Patio Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Weatherford

Edit: Not sure what you mean by what location as even your website says the only location you have is the Weatherford location. We visited October 1st from 4:30 to 6:00. No clue who the waitress was as it took several to help us during our visit.

This place has to be the worst place I've ever been for a meal. Looks super cool and I was excited to go check it out. Regretted the whole experience and will never go back. Arrived and sat on the patio where we were ignored by 2 waitresses for about 15 minutes. Finally was asked if we wanted drinks or a menu. Got our drinks and was another 10 minutes before a waitress came back to take our orders. The Coke was almost all carbonated water and when we told the waitress she said "ugh again". Took her 5 minutes to get us iced tea instead. Placed our orders and the wait began. We ran out of drinks, not a waitress in site for 30 minutes. Had to go find one inside for refills and ask about the tacos and fish and chips we ordered. Drinks came out and the wait continued. After an hour still no food we caught a waitress walking by and asked if our food was almost ready, she went to check. When she came back we were told our food was almost done. After 10 more minutes we almost left but thank God the food arrived. But nevermind. It was cold tacos and burnt fish and we were yet again out of drinks. Was at the restaurant 2 hours at this point and ate what we had because we knew better than to say anything, it wouldn't matter anyway, no body cared so far, what would change now? If FINS is amazing we must have been in a different restaurant with the same name. This...

Very good. For a restaurant who’s name and motif is centered around seafood, I was surprised by how few seafood items were on the menu. I only counted six. The other food items far out weighed the fish. But, let me give credit where credit is due. The fish that we had was very good. The salmon was about the best I’ve ever eaten. Very flavorful and fresh. I’ve eaten salmon from some high end restaurants and they didn’t even come close to Fin’s. High five guy’s, you knocked it outta the park on that one. The fish and chips were good. Nothing out of the ordinary when it comes to fish and chips but they were good. The only fish and chips that I’ve had that were better were in England. The cod was large meaty filets. On one of them the flesh was a little mushy but still, it was good. I appreciate the traditional malt vinegar that came with it. The chips were waffle fries and while normally I’m not a big fan of waffle fries I thought these were very good. Much better than a certain fast food chicken sandwich shop has. The price’s were surprisingly fair. I would have thought that a hip joint like this would have been higher. My only complaint was that there was a stench in there that, to me, was terrible. It smelled like burning plastic to me but my wife thought it might be some kind of air freshener that smelled like coconut. Either way, it stunk but I eventually got used to it and hardly noticed it by the time out food arrived. Our server was very nice and did an excellent job. I liked Fin’s and will definitely be back. We’ve been here a couple times the atmosphere is always greats. But today was different it took quiet a while to even get anyones attention . Couple waitresses passed our table never stopping to see if we had been waited on . Finally waved someone down , ordered a beer for myself , my husband, my friend. Waited waited and no one came back after like 20/30 minutes finally found another waitress. And asked her who I would need to know to get our drinks . After great struggle we were able to get those drinks my friend and I had two beers each , my husband had one more than us . We ordered some food each one of us , When the tickets finally came my friend and I were charged for 4 beers each . We brought that to the attention of waitress she first looked at us like we were lying. She walked away came back with another waitress this one we have never seen saying we drank what we were charged for 4 each for myself and my friend 3 for my husband . Claiming they had us on the camera getting 4 each then another lady claiming to be the General Manager said she poured the beers and she had to account for those beers . Well she put them on our ticket we were forced to pay for more than we drank . That was the last time we will frequent that business .
