They need HELP!!! We haven't been to the fuzzy on Main Street in a while and we will now continue to go to the one in Willow Park. We had two separate orders one for my husband and I and the other for my mother and my niece. We ordered at 6:42 and by 7:15 neither of us had our food along with several other tables and I know two of them seemed pretty impatient about it. Both of us had gotten queso and chips but they would only give us refill on chips and not the Queso😞 I would think they would want to be a little accommodating since we we're having to wait awhile that they would go on and refill at least one Queso. About five minutes later the Manager comes to the table and says that both of our orders have been sitting up there on the counter for a while but for some reason neither of our buzzers ever went off. My husband was facing the kitchen and he he had been watching to see when an order would come up and each one was always being picked up buy another table with a buzzer so he stated that he had been watching and had not seen any trays sitting up there that all of them were being picked up. She pretty much was saying that it was our fault because we hadn't come up to check or ask about our order. I'm sorry everyone knows if you've been to Fuzzy's your order is ready whenm your buzzer goes off.... I guess we missed the memo that we have to stand up there and wait on our food. So the Manager went on to ask if it would be okay for them to Microwave our food to warm it up because it would all be cold by now. I'm thinking between the both of our orders we did not spend $40 to have our food microwaved. How are you going to microwave a salad with beef fajita meat? Microwaving a taco would mean you would have mushy tomatoes and wilted lettuce.... yuck😜 If I wanted to have microwaved my dinner we would have just stayed home. My husband politely said if they would go on and cook it again to be fresh and said we have waited this long we can wait a little longer for the food to come out hot. It was a little concerning that the Manager didn't even give us that as an option, we were the ones to suggest it and say that's what we wanted for it to be cooked again. She did not seem very happy about it. In the meantime I overheard that the table behind us that also had to wait a very long time that something is wrong with their order but they just ate and quickly got out of there. Our grilled shrimp tacos still ended up being cold. The salad was not near as large as it normally is, with everything on top it was only a half...
Read moreI have been eating at Fuzzy's Taco Shop since I discovered the original one on West Berry street in Fort Worth one late night that must have been nearly fifteen years ago. I was an instant fan. When one opened up in Weatherford, I was excited not to have to drive half an hour for some great tacos.
For many years, Fuzzy's has been a frequent stop and there is not much on the menu that I would not recommend trying from their Chips and Queso, to their many Salads, Nachos and Burritos, but it is a Taco Shop afterall, so that is what I chose to review.
Today I went with the Taco Plate with two Fajita Beef Taco, Mexican Rice and Refried Beans. I also tried one of their California Heat specialty tacos to my utter enjoyment. I don't think there is a taco on the menu that I dislike, but the California Heat was spectacular. Fried shrimp, bacon, avocado slices, pico de gallo, feta and a sriracha-lime sauce caused an explosion of flavor with every bite. I would recommend trying one if you stop by.
There are plenty of other things to choose from on the menu as well including Breakfast, Quesadillas and awesome fajita filled Burrito Bowls. Not to mention their great sides. They have the best Borracho Beans to be found. I would recommend stopping in and trying the place out. My bet is that you won't be disappointed. The only thing that every disappointed me was when they did away with their Fried Crawfish tacos, such a loss will be...
Read moreMy wife has celiac and she’s never had an issue here with the nachos! I think the tacos are fine too but we haven’t had those yet.
The service is rough. There is one guy there that is great! The cooks get our order wrong almost 100% of the time, but we aren’t super picky. It’s most of the time where they give you chicken instead of brisket or chicken instead of pork. We don’t care that much about that, but if you DO care, then you will probably want to rethink where you go.
Their nachos are fantastic! Their burritos are kind of dry, but you can add guacamole and sour cream and that helps.
Recently they got our order wrong and we repeated thrice what we wanted and the young girl blamed us for the wrong order. She was clearly in training and she was young, so we aren’t too surprised she blamed us, but it was terrible service.
The have working bathrooms.
They do have specials each day.
The Willow park location has never messed our order up, so if that matters to you, go to that one.
Overall, fantastic food. Your order will be messed up, but usually it is like the wrong meat or you asked for sour cream and paid for it but they don’t give it to you. Small things. That does bother some people though because some don’t like brisket or chicken and they will give you chicken if you asked for brisket and so forth.
We go here...
