What can you say about a small town in the middle of western Oklahoma? Would you think you would find a non-chain-oriented coffee shop privately owned and operated by students? Not likely! However, I learned I could live in Weatherford, OK, when I found the liquor store. The clencher was Rick's "The Cup" coffee shop. It's a great place to go for coffee and light snacks/lunches. I really enjoy the place, and it's a wonderful diversion from wind, wind energy turbines, or Bulldog-related stuff (see the local university mascot for the reference)....
Read moreWe tried this coffee shop on Weatherford’s Main Street and it is a fun shop. Mrs. Flip Out got an iced breve, and Little Flip Out got a cake pop. I got a frozen hot chocolate with cinnamon. We all shared a HUGE rocky road cookie and it was delicious! Little Flip Out devoured the cake pop. Mrs. Flip Out said the iced breve was good and the cinnamon twist in the frozen hot chocolate was really good. Nice variety on the menu so there was something for everyone....
Read moreThe owner was training a new worker and was so incredibly rude to that young lady. My heart hurt for her. The young lady handed us our food the owner came and grabbed it and said “wait she did it all wrong” when in fact the order was perfectly fine. She was yelling at her and just being plain rude! We were so infuriated with how she was treated, it was disgusting. I hope that young lady realizes that she should not be treated that way in any work...
