The Sonic from my hometown is wonderful!! The employees and food make it the great restaurant that it is. Now this Sonic in Weatherford, OKLAHOMA is terrible!!! The service is okay and the carhops make up for the inside customer service whether it be the way the food is made or just talking to the other person taking the order. I understand it is fast-food and the purpose of Sonic is to be able to place an order without ever having to leave your car. This evening I experienced a VERY RUDE UNETHICAL supervisor and manager. I was not able to find out the name of the female but the man I talked to, his name was Tom. My order was a grilled chicken sandwich but made up like a chicken club toaster, It used to be on the menu but not on the new ones. When I called to report the woman he said that they still made the chicken club toaster it just wasn't on the menu. But how would I know that? They said they would "customize" my sandwich to my liking and they did, EXCEPT that my chicken was still very cold while everything else was nice and hot. I asked if thats how it was supposed to be and if it was, so be it, I wouldve been on my way. But a worker came out and asked me for the sandwich and that they would heat it back up and bring it back to me. Now is this sanitary??? IDK But they did bring me a sandwich which I apologized over and over because I was not trying to be a pain, I just wanted the sandwich they said they would make and that I paid for. The supervisor, who I don't know her name, came out with a scowl on her face and said nothing to me except stare. I smiled and apologized. She asked for the sandwich and I asked why she didn't smile. She didn't say a THING! She snatched the sandwich from my hand and told me I ate half of it, WHICH I DID NOT!! She proceeded to walk to the trash can, turn around and give me another scowl (dirty look) and tossed the sandwich in the trash can. Please tell me this is NOT the kind of role models SONIC has running their businesses!! Sure these people may be replaceable but you are who you are because of your customers. What happened to customer service, the customer is always right, and respect for everyone touched by the SONIC brand?? This clearly is not about the sandwich but about the principle on how people should be treated. If you make a mistake, fix it. Don't give your customers an attitude because they won't settle for your mistake. Also, the manager "TOM" on the telephone said to me, "Why should she smile at you? What made you think you deserved to be treated nice after we made your sandwich and you sent it back in? Why did she have to smile at YOU? What made you expect her to treat you nice?" Read moreI've got 3 or 4+ years exp. working for a few different Sonics (moved around a lot). 2 of those add up to a right around 3 years. My gf picked up a couple fountain drinks for us and this (see pic) is my strawberry limeade. Do you know how frustrating it is to try to drink it with these little hand cut strawberries fighting for an exit through that tall, skinny Sonic straw. Almost every trip there has been some kind of disappoint. I once waited for 13 mins for 2 tots and 2 drinks with only 5 cars (including me) on the lot! I mean, seriously, 3½ mins tops to fry the tots, but 13 mins to get out the door. This Sonic needs to get slammed with mystery shopper until it gets it's issue fixed or, honestly, I think it might just need new management. I'm surprised Sonic is letting this one keep it's name,...
Read moreSo...typically this Sonic is about average, but this last visit was awful! The screen did not work so I couldn't see what was on my order and the person taking the order did not speak English as their first language. Needless to say there was some miss communication, and by that I mean EVERYTHING was wrong. We were going to just take the order as is until I realized they did not even get the kids food orders. I called back in to let them know the order was no right and was asked to repeat the entire order. I still had no confirmation on what was happening and we sat there twice as long as the original order had taken. When they finally came out there were additional charges for the parts they had missed. There was no apology or anything, I was not pleased...
