Fridas cocina mexicana — Restaurant in Weatherford

Well we just moved to town a couple months ago and we wanted Margaritas so we gave it a shot and they were actually pretty good! The staff was very friendly and so was the owner. We kept going back for like a month just for drinks and the staffs told us we needed to try the food so… we did!! This evening we had the WORST experience ever!!!! First we ordered a Margarita on the rocks for my husband and a frozen peach Margarita for myself 🤮 it was a regular frozen Margarita with a dull orange color and had NO peach flavor what so ever so I brought it to our waiters attention and all he did was shrug his shoulders and walked away!!! Really!!! Well then we were asking questions about the menu and then we proceeded to order and my husband ordered a Torta(Lengua) and said NO cheese or sour cream! Then it was my turn and I had asked about the (Lengua) tacos and I was undecided so I just said I’ll take what my husband is taking but I want EVERYTHING in mine , he said EVERYTHING and I said YES EVERYTHING!! He said ok and walked away!! The our order came out and I was given The 3 tacos (Lengua) with beans and rice and my husband got his order correct. I was already upset about the shrugging his shoulders ordeal and I wanted to eat with my husband I kept the meal, but when I bit into the first taco all I could taste was cilantro and onions so I returned it and when I did that the waiter said “Order what you want and it will be on me because I made the mistake “ I said no it’s ok I just want FF and he kept saying “ I will take care of it because it was my mistake “ my husband had to raise his voice and tell him No she just wants FF and he said ok and walked away!! Then (Lol) I waited for about 20 minutes and I had to keep asking for a refill on my tea and I got it right before we got up to leave and he still tried to charge us for the 3 tacos dinner I returned and I ended up paying for my FF!!! I order Fridas for carry out, they were incredibly nice and it was easy to order. I live across town but I don’t mind the drive because the food is always good! But today when I arrived at home with my food I realized I was missing an item. Nothing big it was just queso, but I paid for it and I didn’t have anything to eat my chips with. So I went back and explained that I was just there and I was missing my queso. To which I was met with confusion because the man was certain he put in the bag. But all of my food came in one bag it was clearly not with me. I wouldn’t drive all the way across town twice to steal .50 cents of cheese. I talked to three people before a manager was able to come to the desk. What for I’m not sure I just needed queso and that’s all. But she told me they pulled up the camera and watched him put the cheese in my bag. Again it’s one bag there was no cheese. But she let me know I can just have chip and cheese even though I should have it already. I found that incredibly tacky, rude, and unprofessional. Why in the world would I make two trips to lie about cheese? So even though the food is great I don’t enjoy being called a liar to my face so I likely will not be coming back nor will I suggest it. Nope nope nope. Bad service for us. We called in a order and was told it had to be paid for before the order would be cooked so I went down there to pay and wait for food. When I got there which we only live 3 mins away the lady told me that they was putting our food in bags. I asked how did they cook it in 3 mins. The lady got very mad and said you don't have to eat here you can leave. I said I was just trying to figure out how you cooked it so fast when you told us it couldn't be cooked until its paid for. She said the cook hear our order when my husband was on the phone placing the order. I told her it was cooked way to fast and makes me feel like food is just sitting back there. There was no one there eating. I didn't have a good feeling about it at all. And say I just don't know about this. She said we don't need your money and you can leave.
