Maggie B's Wine & Specialty Store — Restaurant in Weaverville

This is a really cozy cafe & wine bar in downtown Weaverville. They do excellent cheese and charcuterie boards to complement their abundant wine selection. On our most recent visit we stopped by for a quick lunch. I had the pimiento cheese panini and my mom had their club sandwich on gluten free bread. We appreciate that they have vegan cheese and gluten free options, as well as a few vegetarian choices on the menu. Whenever I’m home in NC I always have pimiento cheese and there’s was one of the best, like classic homemade pimiento cheese. You can’t beat their prices either. Maggie B's is always a fun destination, but is even more a delight most Friday evenings when guest wine distributors feature new wines in a free tasting. My wife and I discovered ten years ago that Maggie B's Friday night tastings were a great place to make new friends - everyone in Weaverville shows up eventually. My husband works in Weaverville and has been raving about the lunch they serve. Yesterday I decided to pop in after working a bit from my new office in town and tried the Grilled Jalapeno Pimento Cheese sandwich with tomato and ham, it really hit the spot. There were so many good selections of hot and cold sandwiches available, and if you're ever there during your cocktail hour, they do wine tastings as well.
