Beautiful shaded walking trail where I am able to walk with my two kids and feel safe. My two year old can run freely and wander around without me worrying about him running into a road or falling into a body of water. I am able to use my stroller on the mulched trails, though a tad bit bumpy, my 4 month old has no trouble napping as we walk around. I see many people walking their dogs on leashes and there are multiple dog waste disposal areas. A few picnic tables scattered throughout with multiple trash reciprocals to dispose of trash. One portable potty close to parking area. Overall, a wonderfully shaded, quiet area to take a nice walk.

The Weaverville Main Street Nature Park is hidden behind Main Street, but is a great little semi-forested walk! My family and I go there often when we go downtown and enjoy the flowers, birds and trees. There is a little creek as well that is very enjoyable there. This is a great place for quiet contemplation, reading a book, getting some work done or play with family/friends. They keep it very clean and it is available to all. They have summer concerts here as well which is greatly appreciated by the locals. Thanks for having this park and it really is a great addition to the town!

We walked around this park daily during our stay on main street while searching for a permanent residence. It is beautiful, very nice walking paths small streams with bridges, birds, squirrels, trees with the occasional happiness stone find. (which I left for others to enjoy after a photo)

Local Scout troops have cleared and mulched a lot of the trails as service projects in cooperation with the town. Very considerate. Quiet stroll just off the main drag. Only complaint is that although the city provides bags and waste disposal stations there's always those self-centered people who just flat won't clean up after their dogs, leaving it for the rest of us to step in hot, steaming landmines of poo. People regularly walk their big dogs off leash, too, so bring a walking stick if you don't want them jumping up on you. Will never understand why some folks refuse to be considerate and think only of themselves. Karma's a...

Great place. Local Boy Scout troops have done some great projects here. I was surprised one day to show up for a walk only to find the city employees working in various capacities and not a single one of them wearing a mask. Not one. So much for the sign on main street about the city enforcing its own regulations. Also, our experience is that the runners huffing and puffing through the park are Communist Sympathizers spreading their Commie virus because they don't have enough red, white & blue patriotism coursing through their veins to believe they should protect their fellow Americans by wearing a mask. Shame. Quieter than...
