Liondog Lounge — Restaurant in Weaverville

My family was visiting Weaverville and coming from all over the East coast. We wanted a place to hang out and have a drink after 9, and luckily we heard about this place!

It had such a chill vibe when we walked in and the owner and bartender immediately greeted us and brought an extra menu for our large group. We all found something on the menu to our liking and relaxed into playing a card game and just having a great time. The drinks were cheap and the location was right in the middle of town. Comfortable seating and awesome service.

Highly recommend for anyone passing through or staying near/in Weaverville. This place beats having to drive into Asheville for a late...

Wandered over to Weaverville from Asheville to check it out. Liondog had a very relaxing atmosphere. The drinks were great and reasonably priced and the bartender was pretty cool and very accommodating. There was an acoustic artist, Alex. She was off the chain and will be there every Tuesday. I highly recommend this place for a chill hang. They also have a foosball table which is fun. I met the owners, Dustin and Lara, they are super nice and very funny. Their sweet puppies, one of which I assume is the name sake were also in attendace. The only reason I gave 4 stars is because Dustin isn't very good at foosball. Other than that, highly recommend!!! I have been a regular at Liondog since their opening in July 2024. I love the atmosphere, music and the delicious cocktails. The owners Lara and Dustin are wonderful folks and always make me feel welcome. Baden behind the bar is always good for laughs and great drinks. Quite some time ago my wife and I decided to see if we could book Liondog for a private event, and made arrangements with Lara. We had the event this past Saturday and it was amazing.
