Three times is a charm. The first time I came to Julian's was right after they opened. The service was terrible and very unorganized. The food was okay though. I gave them the benefit of the doubt because of being a new restaurant opening. I came back about a month ago and the service hadn't gotten much better. Today I went for my third and final time. The restaurant only had four tables with people at them. We ordered coffee while we looked at the menu. No waitress ever came back to us. After 10 minutes we had to ask the server if we could get our coffee and order our food. We had to ask for cream. Then we had to ask for silverware. I ordered toast only. The guy I was with ordered a breakfast that came with toast. When they brought our food they brought one order of toast. I asked the waitress about my toast and she said that there must have been a mistake and she'll go get it. I never got my toast. The service has not gotten any better since they opened. The basics on setting the table should be constant every time. If you're serving breakfast you should have breakfast condiments on the table and not have to ask...
Read moreI’ve been to Julian’s a bunch of times and haven’t had any problems! The owner is amazing and so sweet. His staff on the other hand is very rude. My cousin and I came in on Christmas night (I understand that it’s Christmas and a family holiday). Our waitress, Michele, was very rude. We asked for extra time with the menu as it was my cousins first time there. She got upset and was very impatient. When we finally ordered she took our menus and slammed them down at the host stand and shook her head. When our food arrived one order was made wrong and we asked if there was a way to have it fixed. Later on her boyfriend showed up and smacked her butt in front of all the customers. She continued to complain about her tables to him where we could all hear. One table walked out of the restaurant because she did not serve them whatsoever. 30 seconds after getting our plates we were given our receipts as well with no time to eat and not asked if we wanted dessert or anything else. I would recommend going to Julian’s but not having Michele...
Read moreI was immediately impressed with the renovation done to the interior. Beautifully decorated, one would never suspect it was a former Pizza Hut. The restaurant was busy, but we were immediately seated by an excellent host. We both ordered breakfast. My partner had the biscuits and gravy platter and I had the western omelet and chose pancakes as my side. The food was all presented well, but the gravy looked very runny. My boyfriend said it was "meh" and was disappointed he only received one small biscuit. He seemed pleased with the rest of his breakfast. My omelet was gorgeous and cooked perfectly, but it lacked seasoning. It is rare for me to add salt or pepper to anything, but since this beautiful omelet needed flavor, I added tobasco. My pancakes arrived room temperature. I buttered them immediately and the butter never melted. They tasted fine...a bit like white cake. Overall, it was a good experience. I will definitely try them again, as I know every restaurant can...
