Terrible customer service! We drove all the way over here specifically to get a pint of the banana ice cream. When we arrived, the freezer in the front of the store containing the pints was almost completely empty, so somebody had not properly stocked it. all they had was chocolate and vanilla. The last time we had been in the store, it was almost fully stocked with at least 10 different varieties of gelato. We then asked the young girl behind the counter if she could fill up a pint container with the banana ice cream from the counter area. She refused and was rude about it. For a new business to treat the customers this way is a big mistake. As a business, owner myself, customer service should always be number one. I hope the owner can see this and deal with it...

When I studied abroad in Florence, I had gelato nearly every day! I had given up on trying to find anything even close to the perfectly creamy consistency and texture of authentic gelato here in the states but my mom introduced me to The Gelato Spot a few months ago and I was not disappointed! Stopped by The Gelato Spot in Webster and was seriously impressed. The gelato is rich, creamy, and full of flavor not overly sweet or icy like some places. I tried Biscoff, Ube, and the Black Bear (a Vietnamese coffee-inspired flavor), and all three were delicious, especially the Biscoff. The shop has a cozy vibe with friendly staff who are happy to let you sample before picking.
