First originating in Newton, Comella's became a family owned brand that began to share it's food with many other communities. Delicious foods include the "messes," a catering tray filled to the brim with pasta, meat, and served in a 'Murican portions. Enough to save for meals for days.

They serve desserts and some soft drinks as well. Over the last few years, they have provided a gluten-free menu, so options have expanded for those with food allergies....

First time trying Comella today for lunch takeout and we were happily surprised! Was initially disappointed when they ran out of alfredo sauce and replaced with pesto, and OMG what a happy accident! They have real nuts in the pesto sauce and its fragrance was sublime.

This place has great prices for great food. I ordered a calzone and it was just right not to oily, and not to dry. Anyone who has made a calzone knows how difficult that is to pull. It was also filling I didn't eat lunch when I went there and I felt full. If I had lunch I probably would have half of it and saved the rest for later. Great service and I can't find anything to...
