This is a cute little place to bring your friends or significant other to enjoy an artisan doughnut and relax. My wife & I ordered the 2 coffees and 2 doughnuts each and had a relaxing time. We also purchased a Parlor Doughnuts Mug for her since it was a quick birthday snack for her. As far as everything else, here’s my thoughts:
• Service: 5 star - nice people and they gave great suggestions based upon the questions we had about their different flavors of doughnuts.
• Doughnut Quality: 5 Star & Fresh
• Doughnut Taste: 2 Star - Kinda bland. They definitely need to develop deeper, savory flavors. All the flavors tasted very sweet.
• Coffee: 4 Star - Pretty good & highly caffeinated
• Atmosphere 5 Star! - I love the old school vibe. Reminded me of the old doughnut shops from when I was a kid.
• Price: 3 Star: I understand having to pay bills & payroll in this economy but the doughnuts are overpriced for the flavors provided.
I feel like overtime they’ll get it down perfectly and I look forward to returning to update my review, If they work on making more savory flavors.
I hope you...
Read moreThese croissant style donuts were delicious. I found this place while we were on our way home from a 2-week road trip. I’m so glad we stopped. My husband got a blueberry donut and I requested a caramel donut. I paid and we got back into our truck to get back on the road. We didn’t open the box until later. When we did, I found one blueberry donut and one… not caramel. It looked like it could have been birthday cake or something. It had sprinkles on it. I was a little sad that it wasn’t the caramel donut I selected but remembered that the girl who was grabbing our donuts became distracted when the customer right in front of us walked away from the counter before paying for his donuts. I will definitely have to come back and get that caramel donut. They had a campfire donut with chocolate glaze, crushed graham crackers and mini marshmallows… I will have to get that one too. No pictures because the donuts were gone by the time I...
Read moreThese are not donuts, they may be doughnuts whatever that is. Went in this morning looking forward to good donut. I prefer a white longjohn. This place is all about Foo Foo, pastries, which is fine, but don't call yourself a donut parlor. Spent 35 bucks for a dozen of what they sell. Got home to find a very lack luster taste. I get the cost to create what they sell is not cheap. So I'm not complaining about the price I am letting you know it's not that great. My two cents for mgmt is add some traditional DONUTs to your offering. You have zero competition in Wentzville. Your in an area yearning for a product, but if you read your reviews. Only 1/2 of your reviews are positive. You might want to provide what all customers want to buy. Welcome to town, I personally will not be back until I here your...
