UPDATE Now that you replied back, I have to respond. But people, make sure you look into the responses they give back on customer complaints. Almost all of them blame the customer in some way. Asking them if you had a problem, did you ask for a manager? Well, I guess when you don't get that fork you need or you received the wrong flavored soda, YOU HAVE TO MAKE THEM GET A MANAGER. And do that for every single thing that is wrong, otherwise it's on you buddy!!! Read them for yourselves.
As far as your reply, my wife told you her name and number, AS I STATED. Because you can't fix that in your system when placing the order is on you. They should have seen the discrepancy and asked or changed it. Second, as for blaming us for not having a hot box or bag, it was placed in an empty cooler, in a warm car to keep it warm and we have never had any other pizzas we bought, getting cold as a problem. The only problems with any pizzas we have received are from restaurants that can't make a simple pizza the right way. And finally, yes we ordered extra cheese, as YOU AND I BOTH STATED, and if the people look at my pics of the pizzas that I received, and any other posts from other restaurants and customers, you would see the difference. Extra cheese should have almost completely covered the other ingredients. That would have kept it oily and moist enough from drying out, even when your cooks overcooked it this time. That is the only reason I get extra cheese on a thin pizza. But I guess your restaurant is so greedy in my opinion, they skimped on the cheese and it dried them both out.
To all the people reading this, you work hard for your money and so do we. I didn't ask you for a refund or replacement pizzas. They are edible. I gave you 2 stars. If you look at my other reviews, I have good and bad reviews. I try to post pics of the food I received. I tell a complete story. But I personally would never blame the customer in my replys back to them from a complaint. Stefanina's said their pizza must not be my cup of tea. Well, I have eaten pizzas from NY to Chicago, from gourmet to a cheap chef boy r dee pizza out of a box before, and yours was worse than the box pizza. AND YES, THEN I WOULD AGREE WITH YOU, YOUR DRIED OUT OVERCOOKED PIZZA IS NOT MY CUP OF TEA, MA'AM, AS YOU STATED.
People you should go spend your hard earned money somewhere else and not deal with such a let down and hassle just to get a couple pizza pies.
*ORIGINAL POST""" Stefanina's had a post today on their Facebook page of a beautiful "stefanina's special" pizza. And you could buy a large pizza and get it at a small pizza price. Never been there. It had great reviews. My wife ordered on phone on way there and talked to a very pleasant woman named Hannah. Took her order and helped her get what we wanted. Wife went in to pickup and couldn't find order. After a bit, even though she told her her name and number, she found it under our daughters name who ordered one 20 years plus ago. Wife brought it home immediately. It was overcooked and dried out. Not enough sauce or cheese and keeping it moist and hot. It was barely warm. I told wife it tastes like back when I was 13, now 55, and we would get those chef boy r dee's pizzas in a box and you would have to make it yourself. Then you overcook those and dry them out. Absolutely terrible taste. If this is what wentzville has as a gourmet pizza shop over fast food restaurants, god help this area. I would take Imos over this anyday. And to think, I didn't want her to drive an extra 15 miles to go to Pantera's and get a hunk because she has been working hard. Sorry honey that this didn't work out for us. I'll try and do better next time. Guys take your money and tastebuds somewhere else for your...
Read moreWhat a tragic let down.... I should have listened to the reviews. I only get to eat bad 1 day a week because of my diet. I was back in Missouri for 1 day and I was either getting imos pizza or Stephs and I chose stephs. The stephs in troy missouri was closed and I should have gone to O'Fallon. I went here (wentzville) and ordered 1/ 9 inch lunch special stepjs special and 1 / 9 inch lunch special taco pizza. I expected thin crisp square slightly burnt in spots pizza with dusting of flour and what I got was a round pizza that can best be describe as totinos pizza crust that you buy for a buck at aldis pizza crust.. I asked the server and she said that was how they did their pizzas but it was the same recipe. She did tell me different people roll them out and make them differently. Side note:: did NOT change the level of disappointment. That said I did eat both pizzas and both salads and the bowl of mushrooms that literally had no flavor and were just sautéed on the flattop. I thought they would season them.... oh well I wont go back again but they do score very high on good so take my feedback for exactly what it is //one person's opinion....
As the owner reviewed my review allow me to clarify// in the post above I stated I ate all of the food// I never stated I did not// the description of the geometric shape of the pizza was a descriptor of what I am accustomed to from stephs in troy and O'Fallon and what my expectation was going to your location (I believe it's called brand Integrity or consistency as McDonald's and Dominoes and so many others built their business on) not a statement to yours as being inferior because of the shape// yours is inferior because of the flavor, t we xture crispness, and consistency of the crust (in my opinion) everyone has been through hell with covid including me so I appreciate your desire to let me know that, as for ensuring your kitchen team season the mushrooms I would assume that was a standard given I to operate restaurants which again is why I stated (one persons opinion) and referenced your positive reviews however did mispell Google// your defensive posture speaks volumes and again clarifies my belief in not returning// thank you for your commitment to wentzville and so many regular guests. I wish you and your team...
Read moreWas refused an online special EVA took my order stated I could order 2 of the special after asking an employee about offer she was able to locate the button to get offer
I drove from Lincoln county to wentzville based on the offer they posted on FACEBOOK. And GOOGLE SHOWED offer
NO EXPIRATION DATE ON OFFER THEY PIST OFFERS WITH NO END DATE then when they decide offer us over NO ONE KNOWS. She blames this on Google
First she said yes I could get offer and two of them then a state toppings etc then she asks another employee about offer ( manager should know offers )
The 2nd employee says that'san old offer
She then refuses but says if I could show her offer
So I spent 4 minutes al.jzy gave up then found
She says yes that's an old offer . WELL EVA WHULY STATE IF I WHOW HER OGFER even after she took order and toppings etc
WHY BACKTRACK that wax B.S. .a company should neverv RUGPULL A CISTOMER
you state yes you can at that point no turning back OR YOUR WORD MEANS NOTHING any reputable company after stating yes would never back track
I wanted an hour drive and gas and time because you have offers with no expiration dates showing
So you cause the customer lost time and gas and your company doesn't care about it
So may 17th post apparently over NO ONE KNOWS NOT EVEN THE MANAGER
Today I posted it's August 13th almost three months into offer
Could stefaninas honored the offer YES it wasn't much different then other offers could they have made the customer happy Stef's losses a lot of customers through RUGPULL offers
Trust me this is not the first time with RUGPULL on offers WITH NO END DATES Listed
it's horrible way ofhandling customers period
Don't worry decided I just won't ever go back ever
It's just ran so bad all the locations are the same way
It's like a stubborn grandma running a restaurant To many NO NO NO instead of yes I can make the exception to avoid losing customers remember Stef doesn't pay the bills THE...
