I have been to many McDonald's all over, including Mequon, Brookfield, Cedarburg, and Milwaukee. However the experience I had at this particular McDonald's was not appropriate. It is an experience I had not once but TWICE here, leading to me leaving this review. For some reason, this McDonald's has a problem with putting onions on their single cheeseburgers. Every time I have ordered one, they put a single chopped onion on the burger. I do not mean just a small amount, I mean literally one single chopped onion the size of roughly the top of a ballpoint pin. I go in after seeing this on my burger, to get onions, to which the VERY nice older woman said immediately "Oh what did they forget?", leading me to believe this is a chronic issue. She complimented me on my smile and immediately went to get me onions, not even questioning the veracity of my words. She even stated how nice it was that I didn't ask for a new cheeseburger, that I only wanted the onions. Then I was greeted by the manager, who not only accused me of lying TWICE during our conversation (including making me show him my cheeseburger to prove it), but who also tried to lie to me and state "that is the proper amount". One onion piece is NOT the industry standard. I can go to any other McDonald's and the proper amount of onions are applied. I hope someone appropriate reads this and takes care of both the rude manager and the onion issue. Other than that, the food was good and the McDonald's was clean. Thank you...
Read moreI'll start this off by saying that Tim in the Drive-Thru is one of the friendliest nicest guys around. Past that this place fails miserably. When you have nine people working in the kitchen and most of them are just milling around not really doing a whole lot of anything, you would think you would be able to have a table runner that can drop the food off at the tables for the dine in orders. That's the whole point to having the table numbers that the kiosks. When you add that to the fact that you go to the counter to try to get the three items that they forgot in your order and nobody will even come to the counter to see what you need, it gets kinda annoying. It's as if they would rather have people order at the kiosk so they avoid you intentionally. The food was hot and it tasted okay so I'm okay with that but I've had orders wrong in the Drive-Thru and when I've come here with my three-year-old son to play in the play area we have had bad luck with them getting any of our orders right. It's like the people that work here learned how to do this during covid when it was drive through only because they have zero customer service skills. And they need to replace their flag....
Read moreMy food was made sloppy and greasy and my burgers were cold/buns burnt. I waited for over 10 minutes for 2 burgers and chicken nuggets with no apology from anyone for my wait. Manager was not concerned when I returned my burgers and had them remade (came out even more greasy the 2nd time). Her comment when I mentioned that I was unhappy with the order and the wait was "sorry you weren't satisfied". Really? You wouldn't be satisfied either with waiting that long only to get poorly made food that was cold! No accountability for the fact that THEY screwed up, I wasn't satisfied because my food was cold and greasy...period. It's unreal to me the lack of quality control and doing what's best for an upset customer. When I asked just to get my money back for the burgers, she said "I need your card" so again, no apology or empathy for THEIR being unable to make a presentable burger. I understand it's not fine dining, but damn have at least a little pride in what you do and get some training on how to have basic customer service skills if you are going to be a manager. I'd be unhappy too calling McDonald's my employer, but if it's all you can do, then be better...
