Hungry Howie's Pizza — Restaurant in West Bloomfield Township

I ordered 2 pizzas and a cheese bread. I asked for both pizzas to be well done. I got home took a bite and found that it wasn’t barely done far from well done. I decided to throw them in my own oven to try to cook them more. My husband wasn’t having that insisted I bring the pizza back to have them remade or refund me. I call and spoke to the manger let her know what was wrong and she said to bring the pizza back. So I bring the pizza back she opens the one pizza box said sorry I can’t take back any pizza that is not in tack definitely not with a piece someone ate. I said how was I supposed to know if they were cooked enough if I didn’t taste it. She refused to remake or refund my money. She being the manger! I contacted corporate and thankfully they handled the situation I still won’t order...

Ok, I have been ordering pizza from here for over 12 yrs. And lately they have been given an order from the owner to keep all toppings, cheese and extra cheese pizzas to br made very skimpy! How do I know this because for the last couple of months an extra cheese pizza hos on last as a rule I have worked for yrs in a pizzeria in high school and college and when someone ordered extra cheese it goes on last and covers all the toppings below!! He has also raised the delivery fee for substandard pizzas it's not the workers that are the problem it's the owner! When your paying 20$for a small pizza it should have adequate coverage on the pizza!! The owner also has the worst attitude towards his customers and I'm not the only one who thinks so...

I've gotten pizza from this location since 2009 and I think I enjoy the pizza more today than I did 10+ years ago. It was way more oily and greasy back then and today, I truly believe Hungry Howies is a much more low key pizza chain to be reckoned with. I enjoy their deep dish pizza and assorted crust flavors. Sesame Chicken is unique. I highly recommend the Large Deep Dish style pizzas. Also, people at this location are kind. I am only giving them 4 stars in Atmosphere because for as long as I can remember, the parking lot is ridden with potholes and uneven surfaces. It is a conveniently located branch though!
