Majestic Mediterranean Grill Restaurant — Restaurant in West Bloomfield Township

If this review were just for the food it'd probably be a 3 maybe 4. It's the customer service and lack of planning there that made this somewhere I won't try again. I went in and was given a take out menu to order from, I decided with the kafta sandwich and loaded fries, I asked for medium which is 8.99. Person helping me informed me that they only have one size now, so I said ooook just give me that then, which ended up being large fries of $11. Of the options from the menu I picked the chicken on the loaded fries, only to find there was a 4$ upcharge. I brought this up to the person helping me and he insisted there was an upcharge for the meat. I ended up showing him the menu says the loaded fries comes with chicken or beef, he then informed me that was an old menu but they current don't have any new menus and there was nothing he could do. this was my first time ordering food here and it will be my last time. I ordered the bowl, created with my selections. After selecting the protein and dressing, it allowed me to select 5 toppings and ended with the base of rice. When I went to pick it up I was told that I was only allowed 5 items and that I had selected 7. I said that wasn't possible because the app did not allow me to select any more than 5. The man said I had more than 5 and that the app is faulty! After the protein I selected, lettuce, beets, hummus, tabouli, pickled mango. I added a side of garlic and paid for it. He charged me 2.20$ extra for what I still dont' know! I have say the garlic sauce is the worst I've ever had, it was so hot it was not palatable. Worst mediterranean food I have ever had. Bought food here on the advice of a friend. He said the food was to 'die for' and that the serving size was huge. Imagine my disappointment when I ordered take out along with my friend and his girlfriend, who came to town to visit. We each ordered separate meals and it fell flat. The fries were soggy. They don't even offer complimentary garlic butter😱. My Fattoush barely had any flavour. They claimed to use olive oil on their menu but I really doubt it. My hummus with meat was mostly watery hummus and the oil that is probably stale is sitting on my chest. That is all I'm burping right now. Very disappointing. And I love Mediterranean food.
