Taco bros — Restaurant in Farmington Hills

Place is very small. Seems to be a place family's like. I've been by a number of times but it's always packed with kids and unfortunately today's parents are absolutely useless when it comes to taking care of their kids. So I've always just skipped it. Until today. Seemed kinda slow. So we tried it. We placed our order and sat down to wait. The chairs they have are the most uncomfortable chairs for adults you can get. No biggie. I knew ahead of time kids were probably their target audience. So we told them to just make our order to go. Once we got home and started eating we realised they made the wrong order. So we called to let them know. The manager was super nice and apologized. He gave us a credit to come back. That all said, the food we did get was very good! It wasn't processed crap like you get at Taco Bell. It was real Mexican style food at a decent price. I can definitely see why this would be a favorite of kids. If you have a family, I would definitely recommend this place. Good healthy food your kids will love. If you don't have a family, then get carry out.

I'll start by saying I was pleasently surprised with the portions taco bros dishes out, overly surprised! Most ethnic food franchises give out fast food portions because of cost and your just another customer mentality, but Taco Bros knocks a homerun in this category as not only the quantity but the overall quality and authenticity of the food is a breath of fresh air! I've visited other so called street taco establishments in the area and none I visited more then once because of the food not being very good to the portion not worth my money or time, but Taco Bros will definitely get a second and third visit from me, a refreshing restaurant addition to neighborhood. The only reason I gave them a 4 star on atmosphere is because when you step in it has a very fast food take out and go vibe, but after being treated this I feel it should be a full size restaurant in my opinion, thumbs up from a local, hopefully success won't lead to drop in quality...

My first time giving this place a try and it was disappointing. I ordered 4 Birria tacos online figuring I would get 4 consome on the side which is what is stated it came with on the menu when you order 1. I called the restaurant and the girl that answered the phone had the nerve to laugh when told her about my situation and asked if I wanted to speak with the Manager. The Manager came on the phone and told me if you order 4 it comes with 1 consome. I told her that the website says it automatically comes with consome as a side. So, I asked her if I order 1 taco how many consome does it come with and she said 1. She said that is what she was told by her boss. I just find that weird, especially because the container is small and not enough for 2 people and my daughter and I have to share dipping our tacos in 1 little container.
