Iāve visited this location every week for the past three months, as Iāve had an appt nearby. I always order the same thing, their strawberry poppyseed chicken salad. A few times, Iāve received the salad without the chicken. Iāve never had the time to go back through the drive-thru to correct the mistake, but this past Monday was the worst. I actually explained & asked to make sure chicken was on the salad because of how itās been left out several times. She assured me that it would be. Upon receiving my order, at a quick glance, I told the lady it wasnāt my order. She took it back and returned, stating that it was my order (saying itās the strawberry poppyseed chicken salad) but said how it was in two half-size containers because theyāre currently out of the full-size salad containers. She assured me it was the correct order. So I thanked her & went to park & eat. Big mistake! Upon getting everything out & ready, I noticed thereās feta cheese on the salad (which doesnāt belong on it at all, I donāt like it, & Iām dairy intolerant) and it was without chicken! So I went inside & explained the issue. A lady assured me that a manager was remaking the correct salad. Upon bringing out my new order, he was very nice & offered me a free pastry for the inconvenience, to which I declined. I shouldāve checked the order, believe it or not, because after walking back out to my car & getting everything out again, it was the correct salad, but was STILL without chicken! I couldnāt believe it. Now, after this whole experience, I didnāt even have time to eat, so I went back inside & demanded my money back, which they did no problem. But to have this on-going issue shows that management at this location doesnāt care about their service and doesnāt provide proper training for their employees. Itās absolutely ridiculous that this happened 3x with one order and no one, not even a manager, could provide the correct order! I will NEVER return to this location again! If you go here, I HIGHLY recommend checking your order because chances are you wonāt receive the correct one! Absolutely unacceptable & complete insanity thereš” Iād advise you to go to...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI frequent this Panera as it is very near my work. The level of service and actually getting what I order is hit or miss, but I've never called and typically just make due with what I receive. Today I ordered a You Pick Two. The "cup" of dressing I received was not even half full. It looked like the remnants of one that had been used. My coworkers soup (she also got a You Pick Two) was approximately 1/2 full. At this point I decided to call. This is where it all went wrong, I understand everyone makes mistakes, as this Panera has made their fair share of them in the past with my orders. The manager I spoke to, Andrew, informed me that the dressing cups are always mostly full and that the soup cup has a line the fill to so that is maybe why they look low. As I mentioned, this isn't my first rodeo and visit THIS Panera often. There was a distinct difference in what was provided. I told him the dressing was not even 1/2 full and I had photos to which he replied "I didn't package your food." The only option he gave me was to come get another dressing cup. I informed him I had no time left on lunch and he said that since I still had the salad there was nothing else he could do. So when I ordered a Southwest Salad, I was expected to gratefully eat it, without dressing, and be happy about it. This is a prime example of terrible customer service and the fact they allow this man to speak to customers is a joke. Do better Panera, or I strongly advise everyone to...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreUtterly brutal! I went through their drive-thru yesterday around 3 p.m., wanting a short decaf. Since it was their off-hours, I wasn't expecting much. Even these diminished expectations were destroyed! The coffee was scalded to the point where even the one cream-and-sugar I knew I'd need to cover the taste was insufficient. It tasted like it had been sitting in a carafe for weeks!
The icing on this spoiled cake was the customer service: it was abhorrent! No please, no thank you, not even any attempt to converse as I paid. The kid staffing the window quite literally said three words to me as I paid: "That'll be $4.67 (or whatever the price was for a cup of Panera Abomination!). The girl who took my order at the drive-thru was every bit as boorish as the kid staffing the window.
I've been in this place during their 'prime time', and had a far better experience...though I've had sub-par coffee even then. I've complained to the manager before about lousy customer service, obviously to no avail.
If you're in this area, and you want W-A-Y better coffee, do yourself a favor and stop by Whole Foods. Sure, it's from a machine, but it's consistently fresh coffee. The folks who work there are also a damn sight more congenial than the stiffs at Panera Breads. Frankly, if Panera can't find any more hospitable people than the folks they have working there now, they should just switch their whole operation over to...
