Shesh Besh Grill — Restaurant in West Bloomfield Township

I have been eating the wraps here since they opened and for 5.00 or so those are always delicious and they are better quality of other places nearby.

Yesterday we ordered the whole chicken, chicken shawarma and a chicken fatoush salad.

The salad was fine with a good amount of protein and nice size for the regular.

The Chicken Shawarma was actually seasoned chicken breast, no one told me but I over heard the lady at the register tell another customer they were subbing it because they were out, I would of liked to known too since I placed an online order. Nonetheless, she enjoyed eating and there was enough for two meals.

I ordered the whole chicken and though it stated 5 chicken breasts it actually came with 4. I now see from others reviews that they also received 4.

The flavor was good and it was a large portion however for 21.95, I had to wonder did my 5th chicken breast end up in the shawarma or salad?

I’m pretty sure they forgot my whole chicken part of the order because my entire order was ready before the chicken went on the grill, unfortunately it was very dry but edible with the hummus and garlic sauce, just wish it had been moist to accompany the rice better.

Quality is good here, the burgers looked great they were making too.

Semi-new establishment in West Bloomfield and might I say a great addition! Their Chicken Shawarma is awesome and if you are looking for an outstanding vegan option, I would suggest the Shesh Besh Vegan sandwich! Non-vegetarian eaters would love it as well! Portions on all items are worth the price, friendly staff and clean establishment! I absolutely love that you can watch your food being made fresh and that although it is a quicker option in regards to going to a more conventional sit down Mediterranean/Middle-eastern restaurant; they do offer a wonderful space to sit and dine if you want and depending on the time of day you go, you could have a wait that is anywhere between 15 and 20min. Food, Atmosphere/Interior Design, Cleanliness, and Service are the criteria by which i judge every restaurant I visit. This place hits a 10/10 on all 4. It has Excellent food, Cozy & Charming atmosphere, impeccably Clean, and has a very friendly staff. It is not an upscale / black tie dining place, but its charming decor and small scale dining area with the music and natural lighting gives it a cozy atmosphere.
