I walked in at 4:50 on 5/19 and a taller gentlemen with glasses and a deep voice came over to take my order. I asked him how many ladles of sauce they put on a pizza and he said "I think 3" I said great some places only put on 2 and he quickly had an attitude and said in a sarcastic voice "why don't you just order it with extra sauce." I told him I worked at a pizza place for a long time and liked it a specific way. He said "good for you." With an attitude so I told him where to go and he said "you too" as I exited the establishment. This was all done in front of a customer. Your little counter that selerates us doesn't make you special.
I have ordered extra sauce at other places and it comes out like soup so I ask about specifics. If I don't get extra sauce I don't like the pizza. Wouldn't you rather someone be specific? MUST TRY once and you’ll be hooked!
I discovered AJ’s back in 2019 when we moved to this area. Absolutely hands down the BEST grilled chicken Cesar salad anywhere!!! I’ve moved back in 2021 and will still travel across several towns to order my Cesar salad …plus the pizza, calzones,grinders and new favorite chicken quesadilla is absolutely delicious.
The staff is always smiling and super friendly! I especially appreciate the heads up when they are closing for their yearly vacation.
What can I say but THANK YOU for putting such love into each and every single thing you make!

Read moreAll three times I have ordered pizza at this parlor the veggies on top (especially the green peppers) were black, i.e., burnt. I asked one of the owners/brothers very respectfully that if I requested that they take care not to burn the veggies next time I order if that was possible. The brother whom I'll appropriately call "Dumbell stated that pizzas are cooked at 600 degrees and there is no way to prevent blackening/burning the veggies. I politely replied that I don't see the same thing with pizzas that I've ordered at other parlors. His very terse (I don't care response) was "Then why don't you go to those other parlors". Ok Dumbell that is exactly what I will do. Lucky thing you are an owner or you'd be fired. Happy to clue others in...
