Stopped here twice: on the way up to Traverse City on a Friday and then on a Monday traveling back. I ordered via the mobile app both times. The lobby was open for pick up which we needed due to towing a travel trailer (parking at rear of store for towing). The first time they were busy, but quick and efficient at getting the food prepared. The second time it appeared that they were short staffed or something because the time from "check-in" for the mobile order to pick up was nearly 20 minutes. We didn't order anything overly complicated and I got a little concerned when I saw orders placed in store come out before my order. When I asked for an update on the order status, the manager or shift lead was understanding and the order came out right after I asked- with some extras to compensate for the long wait. Read moreMy husband and I went to the restaurant and we went to go pick a seat to sit down and dined inside and every single table had food on it all of them were dirty and the walls had food all over them and the benches had crumbs grinded into the cracks of the cushions and all over the floor. This is very unacceptable. The girl at the counter was literally just standing there when she could of been cleaning. I went straight up to the health department and made a formal complaint. Also my husband has been having an upset tummy since we ate there. I get people are short staffed but you can't be short on cleaning. It has to be sanitary. You serve food there and it does matter. If you are that short shut down till you can operate it correctly. I didn't deal with management because I have tried to before because of eyelashes in my food and other occurrences. Read moreSo we went this location on a Sunday. After trying to pay with my tap pay they said they were having issues with their card systems. They wanted to take my phone from me and try to run it on front counter but my phone needs face recognition and I wasn’t going to just hand over my phone so we went inside. I ended up sending money to my son’s card and he was able to pay the $40 order with that. While we were trying to pay our food sat there getting cold. The lady said that I would not be charged twice. Guess what I was charged twice. It took payment from my cash app and the payment from my son. So when my son took time to go and try to get a refund he asked if there was some sort of compensation (like a free meal or two, something) for the inconvenience and was told no he’d have to contact corporate for that!!!!
