This franchise owner needs to fire all of his managers and simply start over from the ground up. I was in at 10:25 a.m. on Sunday, February 9, 2020. I ordered two sausage/egg/cheese McMuffins with no muffin. I ordered at kiosk so I know it was entered correctly and checked the receipt. Did as I was told and took the table tent to a table to wait, after bushing the crumbs from the prior customers off. After a while, I noticed other people who walked in the door after i sat down were walking out with their food (btw, Ohio has no tax on food ordered for takeout but charge for eat-in. Order to go and then just sit in dining room and save). I went to the counter to ask if they forgot me, and my order was retrieved from where it had been sitting in the bin. It was wrong (no egg). At this point, I went up to the counter and simply asked for a refund (spent too much time here already). Was told by less-than-polite lady handing out orders that I would have to wait until the drawer opened to get my money. I asked if the manager could just come up from the back and open the drawer so I could get on my way. Manager yelled that I would have to wait until she finished up the sandwiches she was making in the back. First, the manager should not be doing the job of a crew member (can't manage that way). She was also yelling at the front staff about where food was at that she "just made." Never did see the manager; she just sent keys to the register up with someone else. I did finally get my refund. The overall culture of everyone working here is reflective of the management and nobody seemed to care about customers at all. There was no signage anywhere with contact information for the franchise corporate office -- only the number of the store with the problem on the receipt (that would not help). I assume that perhaps their phones rang so much they took any sign down with complaint information. Will not return to this location, and if I can find out which franchise it is, I will not patronize any other stores...
Read moreThis is the worst McDonald’s I’ve ever been in! Twice before I’ve pulled up to the drive thru, waited...waited...waited. Then another car pulls up to the second drive thru and their order gets taken first! Not to mention every single time I go they screw my order up. Get to the first window, it’s always, “did you order X?” No, I ordered Y. Get to the second window, and they hand me a different order. “Umm, that’s not what I ordered.” One time I dropped my wife off at the Kroger across the street, and I said I was just going to go to McDonald’s real quick and get a mocha frappe. Go to the drive thru, the line isn’t too bad, and they take my order. Get to the first window, and believe it or not, they had my order correct. Get to the second window, and she hands me a Coke. I didn’t order a coke, I ordered a mocha frappe. She looks around and sees no mocha frappe. She looks through the orders and sees no mocha frappe. I paid for and my receipt says mocha frappe. They made me pull ahead and wait for it. I had to pull up and wait for a freaking mocha frappe. Meanwhile my wife is calling wondering what’s taking so long. She almost walked across the street in the heat to get to me but I finally got my mocha frappe 15 minutes after paying for it.
Today was the last straw with this McDonald’s. I pulled up and ordered a mocha frappuccino (it’s my favorite drink, obviously). The employee taking the order seemed confused. She says, “so you want a caramel frappuccino?” No, I said mocha. “Did you want the caramel sauce with it or no?” I don’t want caramel, I want mocha. “Cold or hot?” Well, frappuccino literally means ‘frozen cappuccino’ so I think I would like a cold frappe. So I said, “I want a cold mocha frappe.” There was no response, and a lot of typing and changing of my order on the screen that was nowhere near correct. I just drove off. I was done. And even though it’s right down the street from my house, I will drive to a McDonald’s further away next time I want a COLD mocha...
Read moreMoved nearby so this is my new McDonalds. First time I went I thought things were going to be great between this McDonald's and me. However, 2nd time I went, the food was horrible. Then my daughter and my baby sister went and were cussed our by an employee. They called in a complaint to corporate and got the typical free meal, which is fine. But then when they went to get their food, the food wasn't warm, didn't get the right order for one of the meals... Later, when the family was sitting around talking about what happened, my husband informs us that during one of his deliveries (he drives doordash as a 2nd job) he had to file a complaint as well. In which he did before he even left the parking lot! It seems their employees leave a lot to be desired. I know from my several years in management that it's hard to staff low paying jobs like that, but it's up to leadership to teach these younger kids how to be good employees and bring out the passion that each one of us has to do a good job because some of these young kids DO want to learn, or want the experience for their resumes, or what have you. Especially in this area of town.
EDIT: it's been a couple of years, and I've been asked to give an update. So, here is a quick update:
I've tried to file several complaints on this McDonald's location. However, the phone number leaves you to nowhere. And I know when it comes to fast food, you get what you get, which isn't the beautiful food you see on TV, so I don't ever think about complaining about the food. But until recently (the last week or two), their customer service was beyond crappy. I tried to complain to their night supervisor, since it's that shift we have trouble with, but he's just as bad as the couple employees people look to complain about.
There were a couple good kids who worked there for a short time in the last couple years. Went earlier tonight, and the girl running the winow was wonderful, and I told her so. Hopefully they don't run her off...
