The Clubhouse Sports Grille — Restaurant in West Chester Township

Awesome local sports bar! I wish it was closer to my house, so I could go more often. The restaurant was very clean, had a lot of sports/team items, and had plenty of TVs!

We hosted a small retirement party/get together dinner here. The manager Cindy was great to work with and helped us get a table/area to accommodate everyone. Our servers were so polite and attentive.

Everyone’s food was very fresh and came out really fast. I think our appetizers came out 5 minutes or less after ordering. Then the main good came out not too much longer after that.

The menu was large and very affordable overall. There were so many things that I wanted to try! They had a good happy hour special and late night special as well. I ordered the bacon cheeseburger. You could tell the beef was fresh not frozen, and it was served on a Hawaiian bun. So good! The burger came with kettle chips but you could upgrade your side if you wanted too. The kettle chips were cooked perfectly. Some restaurants under or overcook them, but not this place. I also ordered the Wisconsin Cheese Curds as an appetizer and they were delicious! They had a slight spice/kick to them, which made them even better.

First time here, mostly positive experience. It was actually warm inside (I hate having to wear coats while we're eating, and that happens at most other places). Music was a good volume. Plenty of people, many families. Plenty of TVs. Good beer. Food was ok, typical bar & grill food. FYI they charge a 3% fee to those who pay with a credit card. Maybe up the menu prices by 3% rather than tacking that 3% fee on to the credit card paying customers. 75% of restaurant patrons pay with card. You could offer a 3% discount to your 25% of customers paying in cash, instead of insulting 75% of your customers with an extra fee. When I run into this I simply reconcile it by taking it out of the server's tip. OF COURSE I know it is not the server's fault, but they do work for your company. I don't. So I’ve never felt the need to write a bad review anywhere. I feel like this place could potentially be good. Took my boys for lunch after soccer….literally everything we ordered was awful. The server forgot to get to us (she apologized and was nice though). The chips, queso and salsa were super salty and honestly pretty bad, the kids burger was somehow cold and burnt at the same time. Chicken salad wasn’t awful but wasn’t good either but the server told me it was the #1 thing on the menu. I didn’t want to say anything to the server she even asked if we didn’t like our food. But honestly I feel like I wasted $40 to have to go back home and make them a new lunch. Only thing not worth complaining about were the fries.
