We waited there to dine-in, yesterday. We waited and waited for someone to come to the register, but no one did. It was not like the staff did not see a bunch of customers waiting in-line. They were all busy filling drive-through orders. There is probably a quality metric on drive-through response time, but definitely not for people waiting in-line at the register.
I don't like to be rude, but I simply asked if someone could take our order. I was told they were busy and someone would be coming to help us in a few minutes. Well, we waited a minute more and then left (so did the person behind me).
They were well staffed, so that wasn't the problem. It seems like their staff was focused on 'gaming the system' by filling drive-through orders quickly. In the end, they will have fewer customers if they don't resolve the underlying issue - better customer service (kind of important in any business).
If want to dine-in, then you take your chances with that. I doubt that I will go to that Popeyes branch again. If I do then it will be the...
Read moreMy second visit, 01:45pm, 08/25/23. Walked into the Popeye's on Tylersville Rd. No staff at the counter. Looked over the menu and decided want I would have. Proceeded to stand there for another 5 minutes. No one ever showed an interest in coming to the counter and waiting on me. There was a big black woman with her hair in a pony tail, sporting a headset, and a big blue shirt, who looked at me multiple times. She appeared to me to be a manager. Although she looked at me, she didn't acknowledge me and she didn't alert any other staff to my presence. After 5 minutes I decided that I would never be hungry enough to ever visit a Popeye's again. This is my third bad experience at a Popeye's in the last year. Never again.
Sorry. Forgot to list the date. My first visit to this newly opened location (Tylersville Rd., West Chester OH). They were out of spicy chicken, which I wanted, still, the staff was friendly, the food I ordered was good, and the dining area was clean. Two...
Read moreOrdered online for immediate in-store pickup. Got there in 5 minutes and didn't see my food at the pick up area. Let 5 other people go in front of me since I figured I was just waiting for my order to be packed. There were 6 people employed in the store but only 2 people actually working. Took them 25 minutes to get those 5 customers out and I still didn't see my food. 1 of the 2 working employee was telling other customers "sorry for the delay. They are short staffed." Really? There's 6 people there and only 2 actually working. Finally spoke to 1 of the 2 working employee and was asked for my name. Was told that they didn't make online food unless they have the person there. Why? I ordered and paid online. You're afraid I'm not going to pick up my order that I paid for? So 30 minutes after I ordered my food in the app, they decided to make my order. I should have look at the review and gone to another Popeyes. The attached picture is other customers looking for someone to take...
