Cherubs Cafe — Restaurant in West Chicago Township

I discovered this place while experiencing bad customerservice with the surrounding food places. It all happened on a busy Tuesday, me driving around Fullerton and the back streets looking for parking. It so happened I found a spot across from Cherubs! I decided to go check it out. From the outside it looked like another generic place, but was I surprised. When I went inside I was greeted by Elvia the owner. She was so polite and such a sweet person. She convinced me to try her food. So I decided to order a chicken burrito. It was prepared so healthy with slices of avocado and red peppers on the top. It was so delicious! We came here with friends after school. We walked in and ordered 6 smoothies- so delicious and I don’t even know how she produced them so quickly! Then another car pulled up with 6 more of our friends. Elvia quickly made their order, too! Then a few more showed up and she just kept pumping out our orders as well as the other customers who popped in between our whole group. The smoothies were so fresh tasting! The atmosphere was so chill and comfy! My friend’s daughter pulled out a deck of cards and the kids started playing! We definitely have been missing out on this hidden gem. I’ve driven past a million times and never even noticed it! Can’t wait to make this our regular hangout and try everything on the menu!...

Can't recommend. Ordered a veggie burrito and got something that was a little too earthy. Food was plated really nicely, but the taste itself was unpalatable. Know that feeling when the vegetables feel too ripe? It was pretty much that, as well as a sharp bitterness to some of the vegetables that isn't really noticeable in other Mexican restaurants.

This is a very homely, nice place. Prices are fair and reasonable, and the person who runs it seems to be really down to earth. But I wouldn't reccomend the Veggie burrito over a proper Mexican restaurant. It was...
