Logan Blvd. Skate Park — Attraction in West Chicago Township

Honestly, this park is okay. Great set up, lots of variety but it has two major issues. The state of disrepair all the obstacles are in is atrocious. I feel like I could get injured at anytime from a stay crack or broken ramp face. The other issue is the bird feces. There are tons of pigeons in the i-beams over the park and that leads to solid piles of gunk on the ground. Its not only gross, and maybe unhealthy, it's kills your skateboard bearings. The city needs to put up some anti-pigeon sounds up there and fix up this park. If they did that, it'd be one of the best parks...

this is a good skate park. it has a lot of things to do and many ramps. can be used by vert and street skaters alike. scooters and longboards are also pretty welcome here, as long as they follow etiquette. went here for the summer learn to skate workshop over a year, and learned lots pf things, including pumping up and down the ramps. now, i can ollie and i'm learning to kickflip. this really got me into skating and i'm happy i ended...

Nice variety of obstacles for various skill levels. Big and small Boxes with flat and curved ramps, big and little spine, 3/4 bowl, low rails (good imo), street and vert obstacles. Only con was that there is a fair amount of bird poop around- Chicago public works needs to do a better job of cleaning/sanitizing the park so skaters dont fall in bird poop when the eventual...
