Laimoon — Restaurant in West Chicago Township

Laimoon is a great addition to the old post office and to the Loop. Tried a few times, this time the burger & dressed fries. First off, one of the best burgers around - gyro spiced beef (a sizeable patty cooked to perfection, not overdone), caramelized onion, whipped feta, pickles, special sauce on a sesame bun. All the flavors meld well together. The dressed fries were great too -served piping hot with feta, pepperoncini, & garlic sauce. Good portion, took some home. Tried a couple of their bowls on previous visits, chicken shawarma & falafel on point. The smoked carrot dip is also a must! Even when there was a long line, it moved quickly. I finally got the chance to visit this great restaurant, and I honestly can’t wait to go back. The burger was hands-down one of the best I’ve had—juicy, perfectly seasoned, charred, and stacked just right. Every bite was perfect. The dressed fries…? FIRE.
