I Love Everything about the Union Station Right in the Heart of Downtown Chicago. I Love the atmosphere it is calm, soothing and a Great Place to be to hop on my Train. And as for all the employees that are working there they are strictly professional and very accommodating and they will see to it by escorting you on your route to locate your train. And I gotta say this too trust and believe from experience you got to be laser focused, pay attention, listening for your train number is called and be on Your A Game at all times because it's important to be quick on your feet when it's time to go so you can be boarded on your train before it be depart from the station. But other than that it's fun to travel from here and all the people there are friendly and I had a few conversations and enjoy myself talking to them while I wait for my train. I be low-key in my own world being amazed how beautiful this place is. And I get a lot of attention from people who wanna get to know me. And I can't afford to get too distracted and be caught off guard and miss my train you know what I'm saying hahaha. But like i said this place is totally extravagant so much to see and I can't wait to come Back Here Very Soon and Whoever Reading This God Bless You Much Love and Safe Travels and DO NOT MISS YOUR TRAIN! I REPEAT DO NOT! MISS YOUR TRAIN REAL TALK HAHA...

Read moreThe Great Hall is absolutely gorgeous. The architect is stunning. Pretty cool to see where they filmed The Untouchables. It was our first time using Amtrak from Alton to Chicago and back. I've been on trains in Japan and Europe. The guidance as to where to go and such is not as clear as an airport but was able to ask employees. All the employees that we came across were very helpful and friendly. We felt more lost getting on at the smaller station at Alton and getting off the train in Chicago. The experience leaving Chicago was much clearer and smooth. We loved the Metropolitan Lounge. Bathrooms were clean, and so were the inside areas. When our train was ready to board, an employee guided us to the preloading area ahead of the coach passengers. The system was smooth and easy to navigate. I can not speak to how navigation would be for coach passengers. For the first class passengers, they did a great job giving clear directions. The station was void of homeless or pan handlers when we were there. Saturday afternoon and...
