I have ordered pickup and dined in many times since I moved to the area last summer. Each time everyone is friendly and my order is always hot and accurate. I appreciate the consistency & great eats/drinks. They never skip a beat! Definitely stop in and support this awesome local spot for breakfast or lunch if you're in the area!
Updated review as recently they have been dropping the ball. Last time my order was incorrect & not ready when it was suppose to be; it was on the wrong bread, as I always opt for the homemade focaccia & you pay a bit extra but it’s usually worth it. I didn’t say anything bc it happens sometimes but I ordered a pick up today and it was a mess. There were 2 people working behind the counter I walked in said I have a pick up order the one worker said very quickly it’s not ready yet without asking for a name or anything. I said okay but thinking that’s odd bc it says it’s ready? So I wait, there are people eating there but it’s not crazy busy or anything. I wait for 10 mins ask the other person is my order ready yet? He asked what I ordered, this time a said sorento and… he cut me off and said it’s not ready still. Really weird, bc it should have been done 10 mins ago. Another 5 mins go by the first person who told me it wasn’t ready, asks what are you waiting on, again, I say 2 breakfast sandwiches she looks down and it’s right there ready to go and has been the whole time as the guy who was coming out of the kitchen had all orders on plates for the guests eating there. She apologized (for obvious reasons.) I get home ready to enjoy my usual sandwich and it’s much smaller than usual and the bread is burnt. My husband's sandwich was much smaller as well. I tried calling twice to talk to someone no answer, phone just keeps ringing. So it’s pretty upsetting bc this use to be my go to spot for a quick & consistent bite to eat but it doesn’t seem that...
Read moreCame to Letizia's to get a beautiful Sunday in Chicago started. I was just going to do my normal breakfast of a coffee and croissant, but was forced to call an audible. I saw a tomato soup on the menu, and one of my only known weaknesses is a good tomato soup in the fall. It doesn’t stand a chance against me.
I ordered an americano, the tomato soup, and an everything bagel to dip in the soup. I felt I had a stroke of genius adding that bagel. I felt like I just hit a 500 ft BOMB to dead center. I was proud of myself and asked the sweet lady behind the counter if she saw my vision. She chuckled and said, "I see it!"
Much to my chagrin, when the tomato soup came, it was accompanied by a huge piece of fresh bread that turned out to be MUCH better to dip in the soup than my bagel. I wish she would have told me it came with bread as I wouldn't have ordered the bagel... had me lookin like a FOOL... all love though.
The tomato soup turned out to be phenomenal in this weather, and I spun the joke back on her as I ended up finishing both the bagel and the bread. IMMA BIG DAWG!

Read moreI'm visiting from New York City and I needed a place where I could sit and work, get tasty food and yummy drinks, yet not spend too much money. A friend recommended this place and she was spot on. The prices are a little higher than I expected (yes, even coming from NYC) but all of the food I had was amazing and wonderful.
There's free Wi-Fi with a code. They give you the code when you buy something and it runs out every two hours. Very reasonable. The signal stayed strong the whole time I was there.
There's lots of seating and two areas near outlets that are more distinctly for laptop users, though there are not any explicit restrictions.
Overall, this is a great place to work. Good music, comfortable seating, outlets, wireless. The staff is friendly and they don't care how long you sit. I'm putting this at the top of my list for the next...
