The chocolate tastes fine but the guy working at the store was extremely rude. I have a persistent cough unrelated to any current illness but when I coughed twice in his store he glared at me rudely and asked if I "wanted to wear a mask". Obviously he doesn't realize that you can have COVID or many other contagious diseases and NOT have a cough. I took the mask and left immediately as he made me feel very uncomfortable. My boyfriend finished making the purchase and when the credit card receipt looked unusual he tried to force my boyfriend to scan the card again and then asked for ID when he insisted that the first order be refunded first because the "odd" receipt says "approved". As if we could personally make the receipt print out looking different. He was just very judgemental and unfriendly, seemed to be way too afraid of everyone to be the kind of person who should own a store. The candy tasted fine but hardly worth such poor...
Read moreI loved this place but no more. Every year, I order taffy apples. Carmel, pecans and chocolate. Turtlevtaffy apple. $8 an apple. This year I called to order them and he said they would be ready after 6. I went and picked them up, gave his wife my card and had a conversation with him. When I got home and took them out of the bag, the Receipt fell out. $18 an apple and no chocolate. I called and he said Supply chain problems. When I asked about the chocolate, he said I didn't want chocolate. No one who knows me would think those words would ever come out of my mouth. He would not allow me to speak, he just said it's not his fault. His product was fresh but they are over charging customers, don't give you what was ordered and then blame you for their mistakes....
