My son and I ordered two pizzas for the first time at this location today March 12/2024, and I must express how deeply deeply disappointed we were! We traveled over 30 minutes to get to this location and truly wasted our time and money!!! One of the pizzas had pepperoni and the other was only cheese. The pizza crusts were so super tough I needed to have had a set of teeth like a “Griselly Bear or a Great White shark!!” The crust appearance was to the degree of chard black in color on the edges that looked like they were on the verge of disintegrating as well as the appearance of being burnt on much of the bottom of the pizza!! I had such an extremely difficult time trying to take a bite and chew through the crust I just gave up. The crust was not only severely burnt but was also very dry!!! My son and I did read many positive reviews and believed we would have a positive experience but clearly, we did NOT!😡 Money is so very hard to earn these days and to literally have thrown it away because our pizzas were of such poor quality that we just couldn't continue trying to eat them so we just gave up and discarded them right into the trash receptacle 🤮 I'm so disappointed not only due to the poor quality of the pizzas but this evening was to be an opportunity for my son and me to spend some much-needed mother-son quality time together instead, I became so overwhelmed emotionally over the negative experience that I nearly started bawling that our evening had turned out so awful!!! A final note according to the website this business was to be open for dine-in business...
Read moreWe had an amazing experience at Professor Pizza on the Tetto rooftop in West Loop. We went on a Thursday evening and it was full of people having a great time. The music was excellent, the decor is trendy, and the views of the city are outstanding. Great place to bring friends from out of town or to have a date.
And don’t even get me started on the food! I’ve been following Professor Pizza for a while now and this was my first time trying his pizza. It definitely lived up to the hype! 🔥🔥
You can get any of the pizza types on one of three crusts: cracker-thin, grandma style, and NY style. We got the Supreme pizza NY style and the Deluxe Pepperoni grandma style, and both were outstanding. The NY style pizza is huge - the slices are a little floppy, but the crust is perfectly crispy. The grandma style pie was a major hit. A delicious, crispy, thicker crust that’s still somehow light and airy. They both had a wonderfully sweet tomato sauce, and they were loaded with tons of wonderful toppings - the freshness of all the ingredients was evident.
This spot is a great addition to West Loop and one of my new favorite spots...
Read moreHave you ever wanted to innocently enjoy a pizza with the same service you’d receive at 2am at a rude club? Then this place is for you! Pizza was pretty good (pepperoni was too oily and the white pizza was too sweet as it was drenched in honey - but I’d probably order one again for takeout), but this was fully overshadowed by the abysmal service. We had to beg for napkins, forks, and 1 water refill. When the pizza came, both were set at one corner of the table for 4, and when we asked for another pizza riser so that the other 2 people could easily eat their pizza, we were met with confusion and inaction. We ended up snagging another riser from an abandoned table so that the other 2 could eat. And the atmosphere… if you have no interest in hearing what your friends have to say, then you’re in luck. Music is obnoxiously loud since this is essentially a day club, so it’s a great spot to bring a friend you want to...
