This place is everything people say it is. The guy who works there is super friendly and fun to talk with, the coffee is special, and the pastries are great. I haven't eaten my Korean BBQ Danish yet, but the donuts I got have me believing this is now the best donut in Chicago. Not since the original Do-Rite on Randolph & Dearborn closed and they became a chain has anyone been the best. Donut Vault was close, as were others, but Move Along is special. Sadly, I ate two donuts, but they're so rich, I should've eaten one. Take a bite, have a sip of coffee, repeat. A simple walk up window on Grand Ave, there’s often a line but that never stops the owner, Ian from having an attentive and genuine conversation with every guest he encounters. He’s one of the kindest people you will ever meet. The coffee is delicious and prepared with care. Simple menu but you can’t go wrong with any offering. Move Along also has incredible pastries, many of which are vegan and/or gluten free but you’d never be able to tell. They sell out quick so make sure you go early! This coffee shop is like a...

On all the occasions of coming by it’s consistent every order. Pastries are really good, personally liked the strawberry pop tart. Also, the worker (keep forgetting to ask his name) is super nice, very friendly and will engage in small talk if reciprocated or keep it short and sweet if in a rush. Will never mind waiting if there’s a line,...
